According to Palmer Hunt DJ Pickett and pj woodland are not speed corners vs Duce

Claimed in his preview neither guy has the speed of guys like Patrick Peterson, Mo Claiborne and Derek Stingley. Mind you : Dj Pickett ran a 21.66 200 meter and 10.62 200 meter in HS , literally both faster times than either Peterson or Stingley ran in HS. Don’t get how you work in media and don’t do your hw before spewing BS takes lol.

Well he's an insurance salesman who got on the radio. His takes aren't that bad mostly. All of us have bad takes.
My favorite is when he called MSU's Sunday Black uniforms "Ugly Beer League Unis" on the call for a home game and State fans were livid with him.

Not taking up for Hunt, but straight line running speed and football speed aren't always the same, especially when it comes to playing defense. Maybe thats what he meant.

Even that’s a bad take Pickett has elite football speed to go with track speed. A big part of what makes him unique isn’t just his height for a corner but his movement skills and overall athleticism at 6’4. Most covered that tall don’t have elite long speed paired with fluid hips Pickett does.

Duce Alexander is fast AF. I hope Pickett/Woodland arent just tasked with manning up and running with him all game. that would be a bad plan, no matter how fast they are.
