I was going to start a topic but I figured id get shredded. So I'll just ask it here anyway lol.

Its pretty obvious across lots of the big money teams. That alot of these players that are demanding professional type money. Aren't worth it. Like even a little bit. Alot of them should be glad they even have a scholarship. Much less 500k plus dollars a year on the low end and 5 million plus on the high end.

I find myself wondering sometimes how long this era of NIL lasts. Where its just an all out arms race of reckless spending.

How long before the money holders across the country get together and say "what the frick are we actually doing here boys"? Then this wild west period of wasting money on arse players is over. Obviously your Trinidads, Mensah, Lacy, etc types are worth it. But theres ALOT of players out there making WAY more than theyre worth on field

That money's going to be due again next year. No matter how many transfers. You think just because we will return some people that next years team will be cheaper because we need less bodies to bring in? That's not even taking away the FACT that some of these arse holes are going to try and posture to try and get more money or threaten to transfer
