At a minimum, I see this as fodder for negative recruiting.

Nothing. Young boys love anti-authority figures

Yup, to add on to what you’re saying

Being the villain AND winning is how you get more elite prospects.

As long as LSU has the money to pay them. The recruits will come.

Look at MIAMI in the 90s the players loved being the bad guys.

If LSU were to join the BIG conference, there will be some perks.

And they won’t if SEC kicks them out

i bet Amazon or Netflix would try to get them a deal. Plus the star power at LSU if we win a championship year one with Kiffin would bring in suitors.

I don't care what anyone thinks or says: Leaving the SEC will hurt recruiting, especially with regional kids.

None. Ironically, what people hate about recruiting the most these days is actually going to support our efforts to continue to get recruits.

Let's see what happens. If we somehow end up out of the SEC, it's probably not good to be honest but I still cant fathom that happening.

LA kids will walk over broken glass to play at LSU. They will embrace the outlaw brand. Sankey clearly has never spent much time with people from Louisiana. Say what you will about us, but we are a proud people who will fight for what’s ours. All of this will only bring us closer together and ultimately serve as an edge for LSU.

It will but we have done nothing to deserve a slap on the wrist or fines or any kind of penalty.

They want to enforce and define rules retroactively and not broadly. frick them this ends in a stalemate or they better kick us tf out

A coach and university who fights for players is something these kids probably love. Plus a big paycheck helps.

Texas Tech doesn't seem to have a problem. Money still talks.

If you were a recruit and I told you you’d be able to play in front of fans across the US instead of podunk Tuscaloosa, Oxford, and Gainesville; what would be your reaction?

Lubbock isn’t better than that but being the Notre Dame of the south would be legit
