I’m confident that LSU will win. But Kentucky plays for 60 minutes. They’ve had to play that way to survive so far this season. LSU has done it (I guess) against Ole Miss even though they slept through most of the first 30 minutes.

At $50+ million on buyout I doubt it. Instead of spending the money to fire him they should throw in $15 mil - $20 mil per for the next 3 years for NIL and see what he can pull in to compete.

Excluding her from the starting 5 originally was to get to this point. Lawson knew they would easily handle most teams. Then she could say the starting 5 will remain the same because it’s working. Everyone is there to see Clark. She and the other players hate that fact.
A coach and university who fights for players is something these kids probably love. Plus a big paycheck helps.
They’re going to vote LSU out. Sankey is pissed because LSU made him look like an absolute incompetent imbecile. He has the votes but it’s a show vote to scare LSU. It won’t go anywhere. LSU would sue them into oblivion and win.

If the WRs do a better job creating separation it’ll be tough to pass on any decent team. Offensive line did well in run block but forgot how to pass block at times. Good game to work out the kinks against someone other than your teammates.

NCAA should’ve made the rule BEFORE the NFL draft. These kids could’ve made grown up decisions. Now they’re paying for what they did and schools are taking advantage of it through the rules set forth. The NCAA and SEC should just let this thing play out the way they set it up. Too bad they didn’t cover all of their bases.

There’s been a LOT of small steps and small pieces. Going to take years for said juggernaut to come to fruition.
Some of these QBs play on some really bad teams and shined. Marino could’ve had a ring or 2 if some his teams were a little better. He had a couple of years where he took a beating and couldn’t get the ball to his receivers. Their defenses were pretty bad for a lot of those years.
Brady and Montana had above average to really good defenses. Helped their cause. They are top tier QBs but if Marino had played with teams like Brady and Montana he’d be ranked in the top 3-5.

Everyone will know LSU’s commitment to basketball with the next hire. The hire will tell you how much money they’re willing to put towards basketball. If it’s a top notch hire, you’ll know Verge is going all in. No decent coach will come if money commitment isn’t there.

My 2 sons at LSU told me they were spending tomorrow night at home so we can wake up at 7:00am for the opening of portal day. They want to cook, watch portal happenings, and drink all day. My wife is pumped to have them hanging out here at home. I’m not sure I’ll be able to handle that kind of marathon.
