I'm spending $900 per month for just myself and my wife, no kids. Seems kinda crazy to me. We pretty much only buy whole foods and cook everything, so we're eating quality foods instead of just eating sandwiches and freezer meals which I would've thought would actually be cheaper than eating like shite. We do drink so there is some $ going to alcohol. We also track all our macros so we usually meal prep and eat separately. Maybe it would be cheaper to combine our meals, but I don't think it would make a big difference. For reference I eat 3500 cals per day right now and she eats 2000.

Family of 4
$200 per week combined at WF and/or local butcher shop
$200 every other week at Sams for bulk items
So about $1200 in total
I meal prep almost of our meals. My kids eat pretty cheap. Mostly chili, spaghetti, red beans, etc
My and my wife eat mostly proteins and vegetables
We also rely very heavily on wild game, so that helps with some of the meat purchases and kinda hard for me to factor into our monthly costs
Our biggest costs is all the damn fruit my kids eat. 2 containers of raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, mangos, apples, etc get expensive

I try not to add it up because it'll just piss me off. I do get most of my stuff from Sam’s or Costco so that helps allot
Chicken
Ground beef
Eggs
Yogurt
Rice
Fruits.
All from Sam’s/Costco
Then there’s the kids stuff which adds another $400 or so from Walmart.
I’d say at least $1000/month. Still exponentially cheaper than eating out.

Last time I checked we were around $1200/mo for family of 4 with 2 small kids. Unfortunately diapers, wipes, and other items purchased at costco that aren't "groceries" are included in that total. Does not include ordering food or going to restaurants.

For me and my 2 kids it's around $1,000.

Family of four, round about $175 or so a week. Every three or four weeks that's closer to $225 just because of ground meat restock.

Family of 4
$400-$500 every two weeks at Costco, depending on how much non grocery things we need (still have one in diapers, cleaning stuff, toilet paper, etc)
Then we'll usually make a trip to trader joes or kroger in between and spend around $100. Mostly just more meat, since between my wife and I we go through a 10 pound pack of chicken from costco in a week.
Probably $1200 or so in total

This.
We’re a family of three right now (my daughter is away at college).
We’re probably around $3000 per month between groceries and eating out. If I exclude eating out, just groceries are around $2300 per month.

I don't even think about it anymore.
I buy a lot of expensive shite because I like to eat expensive shite.
It's a vice.
I am thrifty on other things.

Don't know if you eat much rice.....I do. That's my main carb source. I'm either eating beef and rice or chicken and rice 95% of the time. I buy the 50 lb bags of rice at the oriental stores. It takes me about 2 months and 3 weeks to go through a 50 lb bag.
Buying it like that helps some.

About 300 at Sam’s once every 4 weeks, and about 250 a week at Walmart. So, around 1,300 every 4 weeks for 4 adults. Very rarely do we eat the same thing in a night as a family, I cook some form of beans on the weekend for the week, and intermingle baked fish for my weekly meals. The wife and kids are more pasta, sandwiches, and premade stuff in a box. I’m 100% confident if everyone ate like me our bill would be at least 25% less.

No clue.
All I know is that most of our income goes to food.
Grocery store
Snacks
Gas stations
Restaurants

About $100-$150 for my wife and I. We eat a lot of deer meat and wild pork so that helps. Generally the only meat that we buy is chicken.
Am I supposed to factor in what I spend hunting into this?

Just my wife and I can get a 3-5 meals during the week for around $85-$120 when we go to Rouses.

Average $300/wk ordering, then throw in some quick stops which puts us at about $1500. Myself, wife and 2 kids.
The kicker is that my wife and one kid have celiac. The GF stuff is quite a bit more expensive and packaged in smaller quantities so we buy 2 or 3 of whatever at a time. Rarely ever eat out, too much of a pain in the arse with that.
