Thank you for the responses. I have only flown twice in my life and that was many moons ago. I will be staying at a house on the Cowlitz. I have a 5wt and a 8wt with a variety of flies (mainly geared towards NW Arkansas White / Norfork since that is where I mainly fish. Not targeting steelh...

I am heading to Washington on Saturday. I am not checking any bags, I will just have a small suitcase carry-on and a backpack. I have read where people cam strapped or taped the rod tube(s) to the carry on luggage. I also read that its 50/50 on having flies in carry on, just depends on the TSA...
