St Andrews hail today

Second time in a week they’ve had a serious hailstorm. Watched this one from Jigger Inn. Playing Old Course tomorrow…so hopefully no hail

This is an understatement.
The US having zero plan (much less an effective one) for keep the strait open is the most embarrassing foreign involvement this country has had since the tet offensive.
High school students have known for 20 years that lithe Iranian regime would respond to an existential threat by closing the strait. Yet this administration launches a desaturation strike, and then apparently had zero plan for Iran closing the strait.
It’s fricking stunning. And dangerous - because it suggests that we’ve got idiots in charge.

Callaway Edge set from Costco. Amazing value. Only like $500 bucks for full set of clubs - you’ll just need a bag.

Pretty sure the pros there use rooms with one side open where you hit onto the range. They have trackman setup with tvs so you can see replays with the pros’ diagrams/notes. It’s a great setup, especially if it’s raining or windy.

I had good results from the Rustoleum repair kit ( LINK), but mine was really a small chip rather than a "gouge"

This. I've been out to Portrush several times over the years. When I played there a month ago, it was the first time ever that it didn't rain and the wind wasn't a big factor. The weather is rarely "good" in that area for long - I was shocked they had 2 "good" days in a row over the weekend.

Pretty much this. Abolishing the Department of Education became a rally cry for many - but a primary objective of the Dept of Education was oversight of federal education money….so who is overseeing the money now and how is that better than the system that existed before? What happened to block grants to the states?

I suppose it depends on how you define “progress.” Both parties claim to champion “the people” but meanwhile the middle class gets smaller and smaller. Exactly. And for what? Doge can’t really effectuate much change, given that the expenditures it’s poking around make up about 5% of the total federal budget. It’s a dog and pony show.
