have you considered that their are insurance issues and waiting for those to be resolved. I know the maintenance barn was destroyed, it was a POS before the storm. DO you know the status of the irrigation system and controllers? maintenance equipment? bunker/ course drainange? silt issues? what about staff being displaced?
My course was closed for 196 days following Hurricane Laura last year. there is a lot more involved then looking out the window and getting mad because it looks like you could play?

First Bandir, again you fail to address your lies. If you don't know them re-read this thread. If you still do not know them, then I have a suspicion you are a pathological liar. I am not, never was and never will be a member of LaTour. Thus, I have no membership agreement. Second, I have never stated there were stockholders involved. I said there was HOA issues and return of recently paid initiation fees by person/entities who were lied to about why the course was closed. In fact, and for the third time, refunds were promises but Diva Daye has yet to make them. Third, you are wrong again. Many people care what Mr. Brady wanted and if you cared about golf you would too. Your only interest is protecting Trey with many falsehoods. Maybe I was wrong earlier, you may be Daryl.

Brandit, sorry but if I get banned from LaTour I will still sleep peacefully tonight. In fact, I play there twice a year and only for fundraisers. I am a member of ET and Ellendale and thoroughly enjoy my memberships. Your buddy does not owned Augusta National, so his banning is actually a running joke around south Louisiana. Admittedly, he has a beautiful property, but it is managed like a used tire shop, or should I say managed like a football team with a 17-38, win-lost record.

I’m just waiting to see if your buddies who paid $10,000 were given anything stating the course will be open forever? I have now clue if they were but If not, I don’t see much of a legal leg to stand on.

The course had standing water for weeks. Not a grass expert but I know that’s not good. Not sure OP knows definition of primo. Course is a disaster with chunks or fairway dead and being repaired. Oh and it’s dormant now so not exactly good time for repairs to take hold. I’d you ride through it looks ok on the holes you can see but there are 15 other holes that you don’t see. Can’t wait for the lawsuit. Curiosity is killing me.

Is it closed bc of all the trees they lost on the links style course? How are all of these other courses(that actually lost thousands of trees) already open?

Questionable: Your observation is spot on. At Ellendale we lost 125 trees from Hurricane Ida and we are back and running and the course is in great shape. In Thibodaux, Bayou Country Club (with a very small maintenance budget) lost 78 trees and are back open to the public. LaTour had only a handful of mature trees before the storm and now allege it cannot open because of significant tree damage. This is why I started a thread that stated LaTour ownership sucks. Numerous individuals and entities paid an initiation to join with the understanding the course would be available (Admittedly, expectations cannot be forever, but should be more than a few weeks). HOA also had certain ideas of what was going to happen. Yet, management chose to close the course to profit from FEMA money. Now, with lawyers stiffing around, LaTour starts saying the tree damage is the reason the course is closed, yet Bandit says the course was "Prime". No one can deny Trey's success, but in my opinion his ethics are below par.

I played the course on Saturday with Winston Cup it is was still pretty wet around some of the greens.
