I have been hunting a 308 for a few years and love it. Our shots are never over 250 yards. I have been having an itch for that 7mm also.
Damn, it did not take Motorboat to lie again.
CCA, Capitol Clown Association moniker came from a hearing in Washington D.C., when the organization was asked for facts to support their claims. What they produced was an expert report from someone who was not an expert, and numerous pictures that it could not authenticate. Congressional Records Office is a powerful tool. The moniker stuck in Baton Rouge, under very similar circumstances.

Pogie boats fish this area almost daily. You can track the boats online.
I totally agree with your analogy. But where is the proof that the pogey boats were responsible for killing the fish in those beach photos.
That was/is CCA's biggest downfall. It presented false reports, Photoshop pictures, expert opinions by folks who were not experts, and graphs drawn by a 2nd grader during numerous legislative processes/. Ther credibility is shot, and rightfully so.

I would ove to have any proof, not assumptions, that this fish kill was related to the pogey industry. Please provide me some.

You all will not be disappointed with any of the recommendations already made, my favorite is Sammy's. Have fun, those boys will have the memories forever.
Congratulations. The entire set up looks awesome. I hope yo enhoy your work.
What will you do for putting practice. I am just looking for ideas.

Typical CCA clown who loves being a keyboard bully/coward. Remember you are the one with the reading comprehension problem, not me. Nor do I owe you any explanation of what we do. The thanks from wounded veterans, special needs kids, and homeless are enough for me. Now go loosen up your little shorts that expose your little privates and shine your participation awards.
Motorboat
Nope, the participation awards are given to guys like you who run their mouth about what they do but actually do nothing but while dressed like clowns and harass people at public events.
As to trolling, I have way too much of a life to live to troll someone like you. However, I will not allow guys like you to lie about things that people supposedly do but actually never did
I do hope you do your owned research as you promised, but I doubt it. You seem to be the lying kind.
As to PACs. We have both a S PAC and other PACS, but since you cannot understand simple statements, and lack any reading comprehension skills, I will not confuse you with the difference. I do agree there are some really bad PACS, but for us, we take no outside money and use our spending power to enhance fishing and hunting for Veterans and Special Need kids. So, if you want to give us a participation award, please do. If you do not want to give us such an award, I suggest you STFU about five groups and 11 people you know nothing about and will never be involved in.

Motorboat, we are not buddies. I tend to not befriend liars. Second, I told you before, each and every statement I made can be found in sworn statements, congressional acts, legislative bureaus, and official state and federal documents. Yet, like the society we now live in, you want to do no work and think everything should be given to you.
Do your own research, that way you can see for yourself, as opposed to just saying everybody is lying.
I bet you even get really proud when your kids/grandkids get a participation award.

Well said, WizardSleeve.
Motorboat, again, and despite nearly a half dozen requests, you failed to explain what you did. You are a typical kool-aid drinking CCA blowhard who loves to fill their mouth with lies about their cult organization, and attacks anybody who factually proves those statements false.
Since you failed to tell us what you have done, I will tell you. You and your buddies dress up in your clown suit (heavy starch CCA Columbia shirt, girly belt and shoes, and shorts which nearly impose your extremely small man parts) then attack anyone who walks into the Louisiana Sportsman Show and tell them how you got the gill nets banned in Louisiana.
Since you proved that you know very little, I will tell you what you get when you have a group of clowns ~ A Circus.

Motorboat:
You know nothing about me, but you still make numerous false allegations.
You know nothing about our group, but you make false allegations about us.
You know nothing about CCA but make false claims about them.
Yet, you still failed to answer the question, I asked so many times.
WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?

Motorboat, you asked me what I have done and I told you, then you accuse me of patting myself on the back. Get off your lazy a$$ and do our on research.
Strangely though, not one thing I have stated has yet to be proven false., which can not be stated about the accusations you seem to make to support a bush league group prancing around acting like a conservation organization.
Noticeably, and despite three separate requests, you failed to tell us WHAT YOU HAVE DONE!
The old saying is so true. You make it difficult for me to have an intellectual argument with an unarmed man.

I am not surprised you know little about us, but it is also quite apparent that not only do you lack any in depth knowledge of CCA of Louisiana, but you know very little about the legislative process.
In addition, you seem to lack the ability to comprehend what you read. I never once said anything about CCA and its domicile. I told you correctly that CCA of Louisiana is domiciled in Texas, which makes it the only state chapter of CCA to be registered outside its state of operation.
If you think that legislative decisions are made at floor votes or committee hearings, you know very little about Louisiana politics or for that matter politics, generally. In addition, did you ever wonder why your cult leaders never have many people at public hearings, as opposed to the Omega’s of the world? I have been at federal and state hearings where your cult leaders have been asked questions which could not be answered. I have been at the same hearings where your cult leaders produced exhibits that looked like second grade artwork. I have also been at those same hearings when there was audible laughter when the “experts” your cult leaders mentioned were either not at all experts, or experts in the wrong field at issue in the hearing. I was also at these same hearings when your fearless leaders promised a presentation but failed to show.
If by a slim chance there is an undecided vote on a committee, subcommittee, reconciliation committee or floor, it usually goes to the group that has the largest presence. Your cult leaders don’t want many of its members present because it would expose how grossly unprepared, they are at these hearings/forums.
Now you are asking for “links” to our information. So let me see if I understand your request. You want me to give you everything we have worked so hard for since the late 80’s, which was gathered at our cost, using our resources, using our time, all of which is available to you through public records. You made this request, so you do not have to spend any time, any effort and any cost gathering the information yourself. Your request sounds like a microcosm of the Generation Y/Millennial society we live in- I deserve all you have, and I do not want to work or pay for it.
We either witnessed what happened, read about in transcripts derived from sworn testimony, and/or obtain the information through official government records.
Furthermore, my words have already been jungled to protect your cult leader, so why would I produce anything we have. Go do your own research, then form your own opinion. Louisiana Rev. Stat. 44.1 et. sec. and 5 USC 552 are very powerful tools, I suggest you use them.
In conclusion, you seemed to have time to make false accusations against us (whom you know nothing about) but failed to answer the real question:
Beside wearing overly starched red Columbia fish shirts, way too short shorts, girly belts and shoes, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?

Motorboat, it is best to let people think you are stupid, then to open your mouth and prove it. Based upon your admission, you know very little about CCA, and even less about me. So, you insult our SuperPAC and what we want to do. Two questions (1) If you so smart, what is our SuperPAC's name, and did you know we spent our 7 digits on handicap assessable ramps and fishing piers throughout the north central Gulf. That kinda kills your self-serving narrative.
CCA and GCCA were two totally different groups. The latter does however, like to brag about banning gill nets when it actually did no such thing.
I am in Washington 20 times a year and Baton Rouge, about 30. If you really believe politicians are swayed my Louisiana's CCA, you are not only drinking the Kool-Aid, but you also added vodka to your glass.
CCA refused to give an itemized statement of its payroll because it does not want to show the salary of its four highest paid employees.
CCA is domicile in Texas. No other Gulf state is domiciled outside the state iit represents but CCA of Louisiana. it is actually owned by five wealthy gentlemen with a desired goal to have recreational fisheries regulated by a select few. for a select few.
CCA refused to get into the Rigs to Reef fight because two of its owners had contracts to remove the rigs and one had the scrape metal contract.
CCA refused to get into the private vs. public land fight, despite it being exactly within their very own mission statement. because two of its owners are large lands owners in Southwest Louisiana and Northeast Louisiana.
It seems to like to criticize groups you know nothing about (Our PAC) and support groups you know nothing about (CCA-Louisiana)
So, since you refused to answer the first time, I will ask again-WHAT HAVE YOU DONE.

Here you go motorboat. Sorry for the length, but you asked:
So, what have I done. Well, it is not just me but ten other ladies and guys. With our own funds, and through our super PAC, we provide financial and legislative support for the following groups:
Safari Club
Nature Conservancy Group
Water Institute of the Gulf
Congressional Sportsman Foundation
Louisiana Hunter 4 the Hungry Program
Theodore Roosevelt Association
Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership
Louisiana Wildlife Federation
In addition, all eleven of us serve as Trustee/Board Members of at least one of the above groups. We also help with political issues when needed via our own lobby personnel.
We also take 125 wounded combat veterans fishing and hunting per year at no expense to themselves or their invited guests.
Now, before I get the ‘What have your none” part of my response, I want to provide you with a copy of the CCA-Louisana Mission Statement directly from its website:
The stated purpose of CCA is to advise and educate the public on conservation of marine resources.
The objective of CCA is to conserve, promote and enhance the present and future availability of these coastal resources for the benefit and enjoyment of the general public.
It is apparent that you are a Kool-Aid drinking, full blown cult member, with shorts, way too short, girly belt and shoes and a heavily starch Columbia shirt. So, at your next cult meeting, ask your fearless leaders the following:
What is the real reason CCA-Louisiana refused to get involved in the rigs-to-reef program when this issue would help the “conversation of marine resources.: [Sentence 1 of Mission Statement}
What is the real reason CCA-Louisiana will not get involved with public vs. private rights, especially when this issue would help “conserve, promote and enhance the present and future availability of these coastal resources for the benefit and enjoyment of the general public.”:{Sentence 2 of Mission Statement}
Why, in 1993 when a U.S. Senator from Louisiana, who held a Subcommittee Chairmanship, requested CCA-Louisiana Leadership to appear in Key West, Florida, to testify regarding Red Snapper Allocations, it failed to not only appear, but even give the committee a response to be filed in the committee record. We were there, and CCA-Louisiana was blasted by the commercial fishery team. This was the birth of C-apitol C-lown A-ssociation moniker, created by a very recreational friendly U.S. Senator from Georgia? {U. S. Congressional Archives]
Why is it that a purported Louisiana conservation organization is domiciled, and trade marked under a Texas private ownership group? [Louisiana Secretary of State Official Records and Texas Secretary of State Official Index]
Why, despite thousands of 501C corporations in Louisiana and around the world doing so, CCA refuses to release an itemized payroll summary.
Why do they continue to insist it had the gill nets banned when in fact CCA was not even in existence when the ban was imposed.
When your leaders refuse to answer, check back, I will give the answers.
In conclusion, I will give you two bits of advice:
A very wise prophet once said ~ “Fill your brain before you empty your mouth.”
Scientists estimate a Galaxy is at least ten million times greater than a Star.

Two things amaze me about this thread and a few others:
(1) So many people have so little reading comprehension.
(2) Those same people love condemning people, who they do not even know, for doing something totally legal. If you do not like what they are legally doing, you have two choices- Work to have the law changed or STFU.

Three years ago, I stated that Kelly was a good hire, but not a great one. I also stated his a "ten win a year coach" and was torched on this website.
My feelings this year are the same-a lot of talent, ten or so wins, and Kelly still cannot win a big game.

Amazing this clown calls someone a "hoe" for doing something that is perfectly legal. You remind me of the guys who are using carbon fiber poles that are lighter so they can fish longer, computer created baits with scent enhancements, numerous weather and wind apps, reels made with ball bearings in anti-gravity units so they are perfectly round, braid made in Japan using AI technology, four stroke engines to increase their range, google maps for help finding locations, waypoints on various GPS application, but bitch because some fishermen are using Livescope technology, which is totally legal.
If it is legal then you have the right to not like it, but it does not make it wrong.
