He seems to genuinely care and is frustrated. The problem is he is in the minority as a teacher who cares when the administration and parents don't. Has to be real frustrating.

I have one of the older St. Jude Hoofers, great bag and good cause.
Wish they would have issued one last year, my old one was pretty beat up and needed replacing. Wife bought me a Vessel bag for Christmas which I love but is a little heavy.

Would take a lot of money to build another course and turn a profit. Real estate prices, labor, and cost for build and design are crazy.
Both the Baton Rouge and New Orleans area could use a few more nice courses but evidently the people in the industry don't think it would be profitable or sustainable enough to invest in it.

Definitely not the case in St. Charles Parish. Dow, Shell, Valero, Bayer, Oxy, and other smaller companies do a lot for the schools and parish.
The school system has an excellent program for kids wanting to go into the trades, engineering, teaching, and culinary arts thanks to them..

I've never played it but really want to. Every trip to Waco I pass that way but have never stopped to play it....maybe this fall.
It's been going on for a while and can be a pain in the arse. If they keep the volume down so they can hear it but others can't it's ok. The problem is the drunk guys that blast crappy rap music so loud you can hear it 2 or 3 holes away.

If you are on a committee and fail to show for hearings you should be removed. Some may have had a valid reason (doubtful but possible) but to not show because you oppose the reason for the hearing is dereliction of duty.

I switched from the AVX to the Tour Soft this year since I have a slower swing speed and getting less flexible by the year. It has been a good change for me, carries better and stops well. Its not the ball for younger better players but for seniors its well worth trying out.

Pretty easy to find the answer to your question.
Mandatory Appearance: Under Louisiana Revised Statutes Tit. 32, § 57, speeding in a school zone explicitly mandates that the driver must appear in court. You are usually required to attend an advanced driving school or defensive driving course as well.
Small cooler with ice/Florida Water mix and a cooling towel. Works wonders this time of year.
