I'll chime in, simply just to pass along what I heard. I have a good friend who grew up with Trey, and I sent this thread to him.

He spoke with Trey and according to him, he's doing a full renovation of the course. He's hopeful to have 9 holes opened at some point in 2022, and the entire course finished in 2023.

Just passing along what I've heard

I knew Bandit was being less than honest about playing the course because it is not open yet.

As far as Trey's future plans, that is the third different story he states about his future of LaTour. In fact, he still owes corporate members several thousand dollars each in refunds, but the only thing these corporate members get is Mrs. Daye saying the "check is in the mail."

Trey would do the Matthews community and the golf community a great service to sell the once great course which is now a FEMA lay-down yard and parking lot.

I don’t believe this…..name them, the ones I know he hasn’t charged a dime since the storm.

Does it really matter what his plans are with it? He owns the property and doesn’t owe you or anyone else an explanation of why it is closed and when it may reopen There is a reason why he doesn’t offer stock or memberships, it’s because of people like you who think you have a say so of what needs to happen on the property.

Trey probably finally making money on latour and this guy is mad because on of his buddies want to buy it and Trey won’t sell. We’re two months from the storm and a month since that area has power back. Most of his equipment was destroyed in the storm and the course couldn’t be maintained for weeks afterwards. If there is a lawsuit, someone is wasting some money and time. All the other shenanigans are true. But who gives a frick. It’s why he hired people he knows and can trust not to pull some dumb shite when he’s not around.

So Brandit plays a golf course that is in prime condition, but the members of said cannot because the course is unplayable. Either Bradnit is lying, Trey is lying or Diva Daye is lying, or maybe a combination of all three.

If anyone thinks LaTouy has started making money you are either grossly misinformed or trying to disguise the horrible management of Diva Daye. Is that you Daryll?

Although there is no stock members, when a corporation joins, it has an initial fee of $10,000.00 with the understanding that the golf course will be open. Several corporate menbers want their deposit back and Diva Daye refuses to put the check in the mail. As to names, it is not my position to release those since I was told that in private and those are some of the groups that retained an attorney.

Finally, my buddies did not want to buy the course, two individuals that I know of want to buy the course. I have no skin in the game. I just know the two persons would of honored Mr. Brady's wishes as opposed to Trey, Brandit, Diva Daye and others lying about the course condition.

I was a charter member of English Turn but not of LaTour so I have no staff bag to sell.

Bandit, it seems you either have a speaking out of both sides of your mouth problem, or you decided to sacrifice your honesty to protect Trey. Either way, he or Diva Daye should pat what they promised and lawfully owed.

what do they lawfully owe? I know Trey but I wouldn’t sacrifice anything for him as he don’t pay my bills or anyone in my family’s bills. I’m just trying to figure out your problem honestly, the man bought a piece of property that the public isn’t allowed to play golf on at the moment. The greens are perfect yes, does that mean you get to putt on them? No, there is a lot of drainage and bunker work going on, deal with it until a person allows you on their private piece of property they paid for again.

Nothing they don’t have members, WillyL needs to read his pass holder agreement apparently or get someone to reopen Sugarland CC

Bandit seems to fail to address his numerous lies. Nevertheless, if you are a member(pass holder) and you recently paid a high initiation fee (10,000) with the understanding the course will be open, then the owner lies about its condition so he can close it to make FEMA money, fraud becomes an issue. In fact that is why Diva Daye, agreed to reimburse the pass holders their initiation fee at various prorated rates, but fails to actually make payments. In addition there is also HOA issues, which need to be addressed.

So these members that paid $10,000 were given a guarantee that the course will remain open forever? I don’t know the answer but I’m curious.
