You really think I made that up. Go to amazon.com games section then best sellers.
The controllers for both have moved up since I wrote down the rankings but it is still much the same.

Where are the actual numbers though? I am a numbers guy. I don't deny the PS4 has sold more at this point but I would be interested to see the American numbers and from more than one retailer.
PS4 isn't region locked either and Amazon ships to places like Australlia for $25 so no telling how many Aussies have ordered on the American site to save money. Just saying solely using Amazon is going to be skewed anyway you look at it but no way I can convince any of you of that because...rable...rable..rable.

I've never denied it, Hog, but I am a little more reasonable about pros and cons than just saying...
or something childish like you always do.

Hog and KK need their own thread so we can just watch them go at it.

Most of the people who have already pre-ordered a certain console are most likely big time gamers that have been keeping up with this stuff like crazy. Basically the same people who would actually care about the Xbox restrictions.
Why not we take a look at the numbers after the holiday season instead literally less than a week after the consoles have been available for preorders.

Lol this board clearly doesn't know the details of the new systems if this is surprising at all.
Without halo 5 xbone wouldn't sell a single unit

I think you are missing his point, amazon.com is the United States.
If you are ordering in Australia it is amazon.com.au which takes you to the uk version, separate sales/totals so him posting the amazon.com is the USA only.
As for actual figures, be a few more days I'm imagine before those start popping up, probably Monday after a full weekend.

I would have never thought this, but since you exaggerated out your arse, I think I've been convinced.

Read the Reddit post I just linked.
ETA: It doesn't take a genius to learn how to use a proxy either if that were to be needed to do this.

I was wrong...they are shipping the PS4 to Australia for $15.
That saves them like $200-$300 dollars vs buying one from the Amazon that usually serves them. Don't you think something like that could ever so slightly skew Amazon'z American numbers?
Out selling on game spot also just fyi, but I am done with this convo. Leaving work early. Peace

Amazon updates their best sellers every hour. He was using Amazon as an indicator of sales (while I think it's awful, it's still an anecdote). You said overall numbers weren't fair to compare because of the availability difference in regions (which I think is dumb). I just pointed out that we were the sales we were comparing was just US sales from Amazon.
Amazon is the largest online retailer for video games, so it's nice to do well in their rankings. That said, a lot of things factor into who buys what where, so it's normally not a very good indicator of overall sales. Although, in this instance, you'd expect the Xbox One to do better (versus other consoles) at Amazon than it would at other retailers.

at least Hog can provide a link or some actual information to a subject, i'll give him props for that.
your posts go like this:
"Well, in my opinion....."
"Well, all my friends...."
"Well, the people I've talked to...."
which to everyone except you is considered useless and could be complete biased bullshite spinned to make your point.
i guess you got tired of BTHog calling your bullshite in the other thread?

Try and place an order for a PS4 (or anything) on the Amazon.co.uk site, can't do it, tells you it can't ship to you and that you have to visit the american site.
Find it hard to believe they can order off american one.

Only very slightly. If they actually fulfill these orders (which I imagine Sony and Australia's Amazon offices wouldn't want), then it'd be accounting for a few thousand sales at most. PS4 will be lucky to break 50k at launch in Australia.

Why? Just because you say so?
PS4 has had the momentum since E3 because of the rable...rable...rable crowd so it's not shocking for them to be in the lead in any region at this point in time. I just don't think it's as great as a margin as many of the cheerleaders in this thread think it is.

there's no way the PS4 doesn't out pace the xbone early on this generation. It's cheaper and doesn't have the bad press behind it. Hell, I preordered the damn thing just because I could.
In the end, it doesn't matter. Owning a console that sold more on amazon during it's preorder period doesn't make it better. At least I don't think it does. Maybe Hog can clarify that for me.
