It depends on the product. Some things they will ship to you, others they will not. I've ordered/imported some things from various countries' Amazon before.

If they actually fulfill these orders (which I imagine Sony and Australia's Amazon offices wouldn't want), then it'd be accounting for a few thousand sales at most. PS4 will be lucky to break 50k at launch in Australia.
I have no idea why some major hedge fund manager hasn't scooped you up yet. You are clearly a billion dollar diamond in the rough with your accurate market predictions and knowing the ins and outs of what two businessess as big as Sony and Amazon will or will not do.

You clearly know very little about getting around on the internet.
But besides that the Reddit link I posted even said Amazon has confirmed they would allow it FYI.
If not one could just use Firefox and get yourself a free copy of Foxy Proxy.

Quick.....add "IMO" or "I think." That validates every argument.
ETA:
Too late.

i wonder what bestbuy's figures look like

Why? Just because you say so?
I'm making an assumption based off demographics. Customers who shop at Amazon are more likely to be enthusiasts. They're also more likely to be able to afford the high price tag and preorder a product this early.
The more common consumer (i.e. mother who goes to GameStop with her children), will shy away from putting money down on a $500 console. I know many people who were that someone could charge $500 and $600 for video games.

He said he doubts Amazon would do it yet the Reddit link I posted says Amazon has confirmed they would.

You clearly know very little about owning up to the facts.
Any poll/vote: fanboys taking over! Reddit!
Any sales rank: Overseas!
Why can't you just admit the PS4 is going to demolish the XB1 in sales for at least the first year or two?

lulz, if you see it that way.

The GB motto...

legit question for anyone here, has either company came out on the capability of hooking up external hard drives to their systems which would clearly have illegally downloaded movies and games.

I just put in a call to Merril Lynch and told them "you should see this guy"
I may roll my portfolio over to you if you're down to handle it?
So crazy your previous post was posted as if it were facts and when I ask why it's all your assumptions.
You know what they say about assumptions...

I give my opinion on the subject, get instantly insulted by stout. I'm not even contradicting you, just trying to add to the discussion.
Forgot to mention this in other post, I don't know how many people would bother with importing the US model considering all of the annoyances that go with it (taxes that will be added on entry to the country, finding the right cable/plug to convert the power, etc.)

you are the one resulting to acting like a child when you don't agree with a person on here.

his main point was you don't need one down range, mine was if you do take something now it can only be a ps4 and nothing else current gen. You clearly cant follow what was going on

Let's wait and see when/if the units actually ship out in 5 months.

external storage is supported on the Xbone. Someone else will have to answer for PS4.

gotcha kinda funny though since they are big on the anti-pirating yet will allow illegally downloaded movies to be played on their machine.
also could during the daily online check in could your xbox report back to the MS that you have had this kind of stuff playing on your xbox, stuff like this is why im holding off on getting one.

Demolish is a strong word here. Will it outsell it in pure hardware? Sure. It's a worldwide system vs a limited release that is region locked.
One thing none of you seem to get is that it's not a sprint for Xbox and MS as much as it is for Sony. Sony has to hit a home run here out of the gates or they may not be around for PS5.
Xbox is using this system as a bridge to get to their future vision of an all digital all in one entertainment hub. They want to be the only device in houses in certain markets.
They have very deep pockets which affords them the luxury of taking their time and implementing their vision instead of pandering to the lowest denominator just for hardware sales volume.
At least that's the way I see it.
