Rouse's carries Best Stop products. Not sure if they have hog head cheese but I would guess they do.

Why are you weirdos downvoting this?

Jerry Lee's is the best available in the BR area. After that you might try Riverside in Plaquemine but I prefer Jerry Lee's.

New location just down Florida in the Hi-Nabor shopping center. I love their smoked boudin but don't remember seeing or trying hogs head cheese from them.

Go across the river. Benoit’s best around. Mild or spicy. Both excellent.

Been a couple years since I had it, but Jerry Lee was good.

It's been years since I went there(obviously since I didn't know about the new location), so I might have misremembered the hog head cheese. Definitely loved their boudin and cracklins.

There's a place in New Roads, I think it's Juneaus on Hospital Road that has fantastic hog head cheese.

I settle for Manda's but its not very good, Jerry Lee's is good, but getting there is a pain.

Agree on Benoit’s in Addis.

In BR, Tony’s on Plank Rd has some good stuff. They keep it near the produce and sausages. Not directly in BR, but damn good hog head cheese at Lamadola’s in Gonzales.

Had it. Bad to the bone but not tGOAT. Bourgeois spicy turkey cheese is. Do yourself a favor...

I forgot about Bellue’s up on Scenic. While not technically head cheese, he calls it chicken glacé, it’s damn good and better than jerry lee’s or tony’s. So if you’ve got your Kevlar shined up, why not?

Around BR, Jerry Lee's is ok.
Not in BR, but my favorite is probably Best Stop as far as flavor. I like Kartchners as well.
Tried Bourques in Port Barre, didn't really care for it.

Putting some on top of hot grits and letting it melt and then eggs over easy on top of that is like Crack.

Need to figure out how to make my own.

Yes it’s Juneau’s. They also have a satellite store in Erwinville next door to the Exxon station at the light.

I’d stop at Bergerons on 415 tho.

Both options are solid.

Coincidentally, if you find yourself in New Roads, take a left off Hospital Road onto 10 and go get fried chicken livers at Pablo’s Truck Stop. They’re excellent.
