Owls can supposedly rotate their head 270 degrees for vision. Pretty awesome if true.
re: Is Baton Rouge the premier city of the SEC?

OP,
BR is most definitely the premier city. No doubt about it.
The others are jealous of it.

Just checked on the game. Way to rep the SEC, Vols!

I have always thought NC State should apply to join the SEC.

That would get them out of the shadow of UNC and Duke.
Who else thinks NC State would be a good fit in the SEC?

Their football stadium on campus was the site of Super Bowl VIII, played between the Dolphins and Vikings.
That's all I've got.

I hope Michigan stomps bama into the mud.
Was that him driving? Is his family coming with him today?
So LSU didn't even put out a brief announcement that MM was terminated BEFORE the Wade hiring??
Pretty unprofessional way to handle things, imo.

I would definitely rate NC State as a more prestigious school than Ole Miss.
They are just in a tough location with heavyweight schools like UNC, WF, and Duke being so close by.

Why is Vitale even being brought up?
He carries no weight. His opinion doesn't matter one way or the other.

Besides your favorite team, are there any other SEC teams you have a soft spot for?

For me as an LSU fan, I still have a soft spot for Arkansas and Mississippi State.
The rest of the SEC can go get fricked.

delete, duplicate post.
Carl Stewart is the man I was trying to remember.
Coached at McKinley and then Southern, where he took them to their first NCAA tournament.

Trying to remember the nice man who coached McKinley High basketball back circa 1970s.

I think his first name was Carl. He might have later gone on to coach Southern, but not positive about that,
Anybody know who I am talking about? He was a kindly man and good coach.

Is this the year my beloved Pirates win their first World Series since '79?

Someone please give me some reason to hope.

OP, you aren't breaking something new.
Many sources have reported that Wade is coming back to LSU right after the buyout drops on 4/2
In fact, NC State and LSU might well agree on a compromised buyout and he comes to LSU prior to 4/2.

re: Would you rather your team make the final 4 or win a college baseball natty?

A baseball natty trumps a semi-final BB appearance every time.
