re: what's the one food you CANNOT eat

Frog or any other reptile/amphibian for that matter. The thought grosses me the frick out.

I don't really have anything that sticks out as "I just can't eat this", but I certainly have foods I'd not want to eat unless it means starvation.

Those include:

Potted Meat
Spam
Vienna Sausages

Now, when considering what is considered a delicacy in some foreign countries-------that's another story. I've seen Andrew Zimmern eat some disgusting shite on his show when visiting far away places that I would not get close to my mouth.

Squid or Octopus in any form (though I do like squid ink in things). I've tried it cooked in every way from high quality to low quality places in the US and abroad, and have never liked it once.

Gumbo and jambalaya made with tomatoes.

Both are texture issues. I’ve tried to get over it, but I still get sick every time

Yeah, and one of my aunts use to put Spam or wieners in her red gravy, so that's where I learned to really dislike it.

I haven't eaten any of the three I mentioned since I was a kid, and I'm now 67.

Mayo -- if not mixed with something it makes me gag
Ketchup
Fake mashed potatoes
American cheese

Canned or potted meat
Liver by itself
Tube steak

Other than that I am pretty much open To everything.

canned tuna. the smell alone will make me vomit
