This checks a lot of boxes...He's an alum, from Louisiana, great recruiter, and I believe that he overlapped with Lane a year at Bama. Could make sense.
Trinidad zone read keeper....75 yards for a TD

No doubt. Hopefully we got something signed

If that were the case, I wouldnt be so heavy on Lane. Unfortunately, if its not Lane, its Drink and he makes $9 mill/year at Mizzou.
Drink at $10+ mill/year is terrifying
Would love to see the traffic numbers for TD this week

All of this sound good, but I don't believe it...Not saying that you're "sources" are wrong regarding the targets. I just hope we have a backup plan(s) because these seem like pipe dreams.

“LSU and Lane both want this to happen but neither want to rush it”
This has "Lane playing us for a raise until it's too late" written all over it...
Bc A&M honored the contract and paid him

I’m not disagreeing that BK’s effort was subpar. But giving someone that kind of contract is always a possibility. Bottom line is that we wrote the contract. He signed it. Pay the money and move on. Publicly fighting over screwing him out of his buyout is bad business. Even if we win the suit, which we won’t, the toxic culture on display in our athletic department will cost us much more in the long run

Omar is calling the shots. Indirectly through his appointed BoS, Pres, and AD

Frank is going to get the job now

So let’s wait and see the cause if true.
If there was legitimate cause, I would hope that our attorneys would have included that in the press conference or statement released. (or within 7 days as the contract reads) Bringing it up this late, makes it look even more sleazy. Having said that, it seems like our state is ran by a bunch of stupid individuals that are not good at their job

how is the governor sabotaging LSU when he had nothing to do with the contract they gave Kelly?
This latest stance and response to the buyout has Landry's name written all over it...The BoS and big donors like Gordon have publicly stated that the buyout, in termed payments, was not an issue. Now all of a sudden, we see an opportunity to frick someone like an insurance company. This is a short-sighted argument and will hurt our program in the long-term.

He really fricked us.
He didn't write the contract. We did. He just signed it.
