I have a friend who is kind of lower functioning and back when ESPN came to Baton Rouge for the Auburn game in 2007 he saw the Todd's Taste of the Town piece when we got back from the game where Todd went to eat at Walk On's. So every time we got together in Baton Rouge for a game weekend he always wanted to go eat dinner there on Friday night after seeing that. It was like, come on dude don't be that guy.

What did Ruffin have to do with Walk On's?
Nothing directly, but Todd went wild with Canes and Brandon let WO go to shite around the same time Ruffin passed.

Food is crap.
Beer/drinks are the only decent/good thing about it.

I live by the one in Towne Center in BR.
Isn't that location really ghetto now? NBR creeps down Lobdell and has taken over that location.

If you want 5* dining, then you need to go to a 5* restaurant and expect to pay accordingly.
Walk Ons is a bar and grill. I’d say it is above average for bar and grill food when you compare it to other bar and grill chains. We have a walk ons in central Mississippi and I enjoy the availability of things like crawfish etoufee which are hard to get.
I probably ate at a walk ons 10 -15 years ago in Lafayette, and I see that that location is still open…

We have one nearby. Pretty decent food. Can't say I've ever had a bad experience.

Decent place to eat when you’re on the road for work. Decent enough to DoorDash once every couple months. Not good enough to take the time to bring the family to eat there

Cmon Drew,
There are better places to get accurate sales data than here.

It’s fine for a sports bar.
If I am on Poydras Street looking for a great dinner , I am going to go elsewhere. If I am looking for a quick bite before I go to a stadium or arena, it is fine.

Very mediocre food at best. The cost is inherently high for the quality they serve.

Via being manufactured at that place off of Hwy 70 in Paincourtville/Belle Rose.

It’s ok. My kids like it, and It is convenient if we are shopping at Juban in Denham. Never had a bad experience, but if I never went back I wouldnt miss it.
My son went recently and is displeased they switched from waffle fries to the ubiquitous and inferior “seasoned” battered fries.

Name a spot in BR that isn't, at this point.
I agree with the other poster. We did go there a few years ago, and decided we weren't going back. Waitress was awful, and food was only just acceptable.

They kind of fall into a category with a place like Fat Pat's or Chimes to me in that it's inoffensive but not particularly good and peaked several years ago.
I’ll go with the Chimes in Covington over the Walk On’s down there, wasn’t even close the last few times we went IMO.

Went last month for daughter’s birthday. Cheese sticks, 2 chicken Alfredos, shrimp tacos and a burger. 3 fountain drinks and a water and it was $120 after tax and tip.
Our dinner at Hard Rock Vegas (also kids choice) was the same price and it included 2 cocktails. I expected that price in Vegas, not at Walk-Ons.
I’ll go if someone wants to go, but I doubt I’ll ever suggest it again.

It’s solid cajun-ish bar food with tvs. It’s a clear step up from the Hooters, Twin Peaks, and BWW’s of the world. I wouldn’t go out of my way for Walk-On’s in South Louisiana (as there are better and cheaper mom & pop restaurants), but while traveling, it’s not a bad option. Their burgers are good, they make a decent fried shrimp po’boy, etc.

The Thibodaux location seems to be better than the others for some reason.

That is because of a fella named Scott that runs it. He’s great.
