For me, it's garlic. I have yet to find a recipe that has sufficient garlic for my palate.

Always garlic. Fresh and the Costco granulated stuff.

Probably salt. Recipes with a pinch or 1/4 teaspoon usually get more.

I pay for pre-cut seasoning (Bell pepper, onion, celery, garlic) at Rouses.

The container it comes in is also used to share meal with family.

I laugh when I see a recipe call for 1 clove of garlic. Geez, you might as well leave it out.

Garlic and pepper. Sometimes salt if it calls for a really small amount.

Garlic, once clove, more like whatever is left of the bulb.

When a recipe calls for fresh herbs, I generally use more than called for, particularly thyme. A few sprigs of thyme is never enough.

Garlic also.
