And Salt Lake City just issued $900m in bonds to Jazz team owner worth 3x less than Gayle for renovations to arena and district surrounding. Gayle and Co will be happy to put $300m on that turd and call it a day. The whole area needs to be reimagined including her precious New Orleans Cent...
ELVIS U Metairie and it isn't even close. Low taxes, good police protection, well protected residential areas and right next to the tender box of the state. The reason it is so well run? It isn't even a city at all. It is completely unincorporated and does not have any elected officials. No ...
There's already a plan and it indicates that she plans to hold on to the team and then sell after she passes with a trust/foundation to donate to nonprofits. I dont remember all details but they were very public about it in the last few years. She has no reason to sell before she passes. It seems...

Interesting choice by Jonas and the Wizards, unless of course he had not choice. Jonas probably could have found a better team to title content off the bench. And who knows what his role in Washington will be anyway? They drafted Sarr and just resigned Richaun Holmes (apparently a real person) for ...

The Pistons have a ton of money that they could have easily afforded a qualifying offer and then either he signs somewhere else and maybe they get a like a 2030 2nd rounder pick swap, or he stays and gamble he can show enough to be traded later. But he was underwhelming the Pistons didn't even want ...
They're actually really close in terms of efficiency. The difference is their shot selection. The last two seasons Trae has had a 3PT attempt rate of .387, and a FT rate of .436. BI the last two seasons has had a 3PT attempt rate of .219 and a FT rate of .313.
I was only really ...
Trae's not as efficient as BI and that could be a problem if Trae shoots at same volume those shots could come from guys like Trey and Zion who *are* efficient. Hopefully Trae can accept an adjustment from 19-21 shots per game to something like 16-18 shots. It'd be interesting to see what Pels do...
The only thing I'm bitter about is that I don't have my own bar in Omaha selling tens of thousands of $5 Jello shots and then getting a nice itemized tax deduction. ...
What does Griff not see in Borrego? Griff's likely the one that put Borrego on staff and made him associate head coach. ...
Why couldn't the Pels play in the Superdome until renovations or a rebuild of SKC is complete?
Unless they to play at UNO or out of New Orleans, the Dome is the most reasonable solution. It doesn't need to be a good solution, just the best from multiple bad ones. ...
Vinson needed to leave New Orleans if he wanted to advance his career. He didn't do that forever, because of his family, but this is the right move for him.
Not necessarily. Assuming JB leaves the Pels will lose an associate head coach and Pels can promote from within or hire from ...
went a while back Would like to see what changed, but honestly haven't had the time lately. Setup to win Beard awards for sure. Chef is charismatic and can bring you in for the experience.
Just read the review and it looks and sounds very good but I don't know that we'll make...

re: Hurley turns down Lakers

Reportedly Borrego had two in person meetings in L.A. That's too much for someone if only considering as an assistant. It's unfortunate that the process cost the Pels the opportunity to hire Darvin Ham as top assistant if Borrego left. ...

David Blatt is also the counter to "results matter." Blatt coached the Cavs to the Finals in year one and was fired in year 2 mid-season when Cavs had the EC best record. What matters is whatever LeBron thinks. What Lebron seems like it'd matter for the Lakers. How much faith does LeBron *really*...
I think Hurley will be the exception. Like Donovan most of his players have some NBA pedigree. Hes not just recruiting coach but a great tactical coach unlike Pitino. He also isn’t a huge control freak. Saban and Spurrier were control freaks and football is different. Now the Lakers are a to...

From a candidate that played in NBA but has no head coaching experience but is around NBA all the time to a candidate has neither played nor coached in the NBA but has multiple NCAA championships. That's quite a difference. I think it's really risky for the Lakers. Hiring coaches with limited pr...
Boy, I can tell 99% of you didn’t even bother to look into what’s happening. They’ve been asking for documents for 6 months and have yet to receive them, and while waiting they were still making their payments, so after 6 months they are now using the only leverage they have. Every single ...
