I usually do a standing rib roast but decided to smoke a turkey and ham this year since I got a new smoker. Thinking about doing a broccoli and cauliflower casserole along with a shrimp and corn soup and sweet potato pie

I really wanted to do a prime rib but I couldn't find a small enough one so I opted for another turkey dinner (which I like) and a couple days ago, I was at Kroger and found some perfect rib roasts and they were discounted. I almost got one.
Hard to be a good prime rib.

Winn Dixie has select rib roasts on the bone for 5.99lb right now (if the sale is still on). I picked up one the other day and sliced it into steaks and they were damn nice.
Smoked turkey
Double-smoked ham
shrimp fettuccini
smothered cabbage
crawfish/andouille cornbread dressing
shrimp/mirliton casserole
honey butter glazed potato rolls

I asking baked Mac and cheese. I want some roast gravy with it so will probably do a Mississippi roast in the crock.

EastCoastCajun, we are contemplating doing this instead of our usual beef tenderloin or prime rib roast. What sides were you planning to serve with it? Having trouble deciding.
