1/2 sweet - 1/2 unsweet
Tea is my vice, its like crack for me. I used to love a good sweet tea but have started cuttinng it with unsweet or water to cut back on the sugar. If I am making my own glass its aabout 3/4 unsweet and 1/4 sweet.

I love tea. Usually I make sun tea only however, when It gets cold I brew it on the stove. I prefer sun tea overall. Mostly, I drink it with no sugar, my kids like sweetened- I use 1 cup sugar to 1 gallon of tea. Lipton or Louizanne is all I use. However, I do want to start trying loose tea. Anyone use loose tea and where do you buy it?

The only acceptable answer in New Orleans is iced tea. I immediately rebuke waitstaff if they offer sugared tea. It is disgusting and a sign of the infiltration of the bad of the South into our cultured land.

Make it at home with loose leaf, sweeten the pitcher with Splenda.
At restaurants, often order 50/50 or half and half. When you order that way up north, you may get half tea and half lemonade (Arnold Palmer).

Sweet but most places (looking at you fried seafood emporiums) make it overly sweet to where it just tastes like simple syrup. I want to taste the tea but with a sweet finish and maybe a squeeze of lemon

When I worked at one of these places, we put 4 pints of sugar in the sweet. Lol. It’s remarkable people drank that stuff.

I like tea. Hot, cold, black, white, sweet or unsweet. We don't drink cokes much in our house (I almost never do) but we do drink a lot of tea. When home, we go with a bit of stevia. When at a restaurant I order unsweet. If its a pour your own I go sweet, unsweet, lemonade in approximate thirds.
