I could eat broccoli almost every day but would like to hear of some more creative ways of cooking it other than the typical stuff like steamed, pan fried, broccoli cheese soup etc

Judging by these cook-off threads I know I'll get some creative ideas here

TIA

My kids like it roasted with olive oil and lemon. Occasionally a sprinkle of Parmesan to finish

Big fan of grilled broccoli and red onion + smoked provolone, red pepper flakes on a toasty, garlic-buttered multi-grain baguette. Add a drizzle of balsamic reduction for lagniappe.

toast sliced almonds in butter, blanch broccoli then add to almond butter. toss with a bit of creole spice, parmesean and lemon juice. I like the idea of some chili flakes as well.

Sounds good. I like tempura broccoli but not a big fan of frying anything at home.

Toss it in olive oil and italian spices then spread it out on a pan. Roast at 350 just until the tips start to blacken.

Broccoli , ground meat , cream cheese, some onion and chopped bell pepper put in a pie shell top with shredded cheese. You have Broccoli Pie. It is awesome.

I don’t use eggs like most recipes say.

Why do you eat broccoli so much? I was going to say a diet but then you talked about frying it.

I make a foil pack with broccoli, garlic, onions, butter, and sausage. I put it off the heat. When it’s steaming, I pull it out of the grill and top with grated Parmesan. It’s a meal in a bag.

Bury it in compost and never speak of it again.

This simple formula works on any number of vegetables btw. We love grilled green beans and okra is another favorite.

Yep, big hit when fresh out my garden. I grow Japanese Yard Long beans on one of my trellises and pick them from late spring to late summer when the heat finally gets to them.

They are picked between 20-24 inches long and I cut them in 6 in. lengths, hit them with a bit of olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic powder to grill. I do the same with fresh okra out the garden too-----along with summer squash. Love me some grilled vegetables.
