re: Mattress Buying

Posted by LSU999 on 4/8/26 at 6:18 am to
Check out a guy name David The Mattress & Furniture guy on FB. Its a place in Prarieville. He supposedly has great deals and a nice guy. I see all the raves, just haven't had a reason to go see him yet.

I may need to as my back is starting to hate my mattress. Part of getting old i guess.
The people who don`t cover their food are the ones who need their asses whooped. Spaghetti and mexican dishes leave splatter matter all over.
I liked it , although the wife did not. It was different and not sweet. It actually had me wanting to try more of their stuff, but after the wife didn`t like it, I have not tried their other products.
I need No Mayo to go back to his food reviews. Doesn`t have to be RBR, but I need to see something to make Mondays better.

Really?

Haven`t been to Superior in awhile. I know food prices have gone up and i understand businesses need to adjust, but beans and rice are still cheap as hell. It`s crazy to me because prices increased during Covid and after they never dropped.

Shop welders don’t get paid much, around $20-25/hr.
The guys that are knocking down $75-85 typically specialize in a specific industry, like pipelines, refineries or aerospace. These jobs typically require a lot of travel

My shop pays welders who can pass all 3 of our processes $36 an hour.

Most fab shops pay around the same if they are in neighboring cities.

Most kids that go to school for welding learn stick only.

It`s better to start in a fab shop as a helper and practice on his time. Those schools are just making money without giving the students any real experience.

There are other processes that you have to pass a test for to weld in shops and in the field, that just stick welding.

He needs to be the grunt and show that he can work with and be able to gain the respect as a worker to the guys who have been in the field for years. Those welders will show him the ropes and help him be a better welder if he is cut out for it.

Not yet. Heard they have struggled to keep up with the crab demand as crowds keep coming.
It`s probably because they charged like $65 for two people on a Saturday at lunch with two sodas and tax it was $74.
oh ok. thanks for correcting me. I haven`t been in awhile.
Same with the Stackers they introduced. There was double the meat and cheese in one of those than two tacos.

Regular taco was like 1.79 and has 1/4 meat, the stacker was 1.99 and full of meat and cheese.

Now they have a chicken stacker.

I noticed the nacho issue a few years ago and honestly the food doesnt taste as good as it did 10 years ago. Two of my favs are now on the lowest of my fast food lists. McDonalds is the other. Breakfast at MD is still ok but not great.

I don’t know how you can control this but the one time I ate there I almost broke a tooth on a pit from a black olive that was on my pizza.

Pizza was pretty good. I’m more of a boring pizza eater. I don’t get all the spinach and oils and all that a lot of places do, I guess I need to try some of those things.

I’m probably the only person in here who drank this stuff, but St Ides Special Brew would get me right for cheap. It was 6%ABV and had different flavors. I struggled to drink regular beer back in my early adult life.

I like Home Run Inn.... but only the Pepperoni one.

I have got the two meat ones and they didn`t taste right.

Tombstone, Red Baron are right after.
I`m sure they can also act as an antenna if their internet goes out and won`t be up for days or like Youtube tv did and remove some local channels until a horseshite deal gets reached.
