I love Veron's but wouldn't waste it in a boil.

Manda works for me in crawfish boil only. For other applications, there are better options.

Manda's is good in one thing: Jambalaya, cause of the grease it renders.

It’s not sausage, but when soaking my crawfish, I put a rotisserie chicken in. Many have said it’s the best chicken they ever had. I take credit, but don’t do anything but take it out the container!!!

Savoies, Richards, whatever cheap smoked sausage is available. I love throwing a couple packs of Lil Smokies in a crawfish boil too.

Somebody turned me on to using lil smokies and that’s just about all I use now.

Also as much as it pains me to recommend this, but I find the plan old Hillshire farms sausage is pretty good in a boil. It soaks up the boil good and it’s not to greasy.

Correct answer.
Grill your sausage if you want sausage.

That’s my experience with hilshire too. It soaks up good and mushrooms out a some. Not greasy. Cheap. Win win

May try smokies I have seen that a few times but never tried.

Rotisserie chicken....hmmmmmm....id try it.

Had Ekrich in a boil at a friends house last year. Didn't know what it was so I asked him what brand it was because I thought it was just right for a crawfish boil. He said it was Ekrich Skinless sausage.

It's all I've ever used since.
