re: Are there currently any great fine dining restaurants in Memphis? - Burlee on 12/6/17 at 10:43 am
Andrew/Michael, Iris and Erling Jensen’s are the top fine dining restaurants. NOT Flight - it is ok but is not fine dining IMHO. If you’re limited to downtown Memphis, then Catherine & Mary (sister restaurant to Andrew/Michael) and Felicia Suzzane’s are two good options. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: Memphis BBQ? - Burlee on 11/28/17 at 3:30 pm
Central BBQ Nachos
Insider tip - have them substitute their homemade chips for the standard tortilla chips. To the OP - if you’re staying downtown, just go to central BBQ downtown (and gus’s). I’d skip the rendezvous. You can also go to cozy corner. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: Rank these Southern cities for food - Burlee on 10/5/17 at 9:04 am
I said it's a negative that their only good restaurants are BBQ places. They don't have good fine dining spots like other cities. Nashville has hot chicken as a food they're known for. ). re: family memember visting memphis - Burlee on 8/10/17 at 3:59 pm
Yeah...Memphis is not a brisket town at all. Ribs, pulled pork (nachos or sandwich) and sausage cheese plate is the way to go in Memphis. Central, cozy Corner and BBQ shop are the best. You could also try payne's or tom's if you're looking for off the beaten other spots. Rendezvous ribs ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
REM by a mile because of: Chronic Town Murmur Reckoning Fables of the Reconstruction Dead letter Office. OH MY God!
I'm kind of with you on this. This stretch run of albums sort of defines my childhood. But I can't agree with you that the cure doesn't hold ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
