Ive had some very good steaks from restaurants that primarily serve seafood..... but that is beside the point . That Pic looks like a steak dinner ad from Shoney's circa 1985.....and a terrible one at that

Drago’s is wildly overrated.
Their pasta dishes are garbage.
It’s for the Metairie masses imo.
Operates like a larger chain w/o actually being a larger chain.

And what's really odd about that pic is that most places post pics of their products at their best to make it look appetizing.
Look at Burger King's pics of their whopper and compare it to what is handed to you when you order it..........
Drago's got it backwards. That is a most disappointing look for a potential meal.

That looks good for BR food standards

The only thing Drago’s does good, in my unprofessional opinion, is oysters. And they’re excellent.
Everything else is junk. Their etouffee and gumbo can just be thrown in the long grass.

That looks like something from Picadilly.

Drago’s is absolutely awful. If people only knew what their chargrilled oysters with “butter” really was. In reality, their “butter” is some terrible product that wouldn’t even pass as margarine, which they keep in 40 gallon drums unrefrigerated in their unsanitary warehouse.

I don’t care what the butter is, the oysters are awesome. The lobster is the only other thing good.
I follow the charity event scene a decent amount and Dragos donates a ton of food and gift cards to these events.
They show up all the damn time to grill oysters at these events for free.
Because I know all that they do for stuff like this I do go eat there a few times a year.
Yall are correct. The food in general is not good and expensive

Listen the steak is bad, very bad. Especially on top of the damn Mac n cheese
But who the hell puts tomatoes on broccoli? That’s the real head scratcher here

The Piccadilly of my childhood (think Cortana Mall) didn't have anything that looked like that.

I'll say it: to me that looks like the work of a self-proclaimed "Food Photographer" -- with no idea of what a decent steak or even just a basic plate of good restaurant food looks like -- was handed this assignment. Color! Symmetry! Orange Slice!
Beyond the sous-vided but not-yet seared steaks, the main clue is the tomatoes evenly placed between broccoli florets. Ugh.
Tommy C. needs to take him or her (or the AI thing that created this) out to a real dinner. Tommy's a great guy.

Looks like Crazy Johnnie's of today.

Food pictures are incredibly hard. A restaurant doing their own is headed for disaster. I’ve driven that train right into the wall myself.
