It’s ok. Just average. Wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

I’ve had it a handful of times in Georgia and Tuscaloosa. Prices are good, huge menu. think it’s pretty solid but nothing to go crazy for. The Cook Out sauce is incredible

I have had it. When it's good it's really good. They have about 40 flavors of shakes.

They are plentiful out here. Better than your McD's and Wendy's but nothing to go crazy for.

SC resident here....been eating Cookout for at least a decade. It's good. They use fresh beef that is never frozen, delivered daily, and they offer a good value for the money. Pre-covid, I would get their "Cookout tray", which was a double burger, plus your choice of two sides (usually fries and onion rings for me), plus a 32 oz drink for just $5.99+tax. It was, by far, the best deal in fast food burgers. I think the same thing now costs upwards of $10, but it's still a better deal than anything from the bigger burger chains.

It's pretty inexpensive, or was the last time I went there.

The food was pretty "okay."

Rings and okra with an extra side of chili are my sides.

Watermelon shake is goated when available.

It's a fatty's paradise. Where else can you get a corn dog as a side?

It is taking the spot of what was supposed to be a Starbucks...which was certainly needed in that area with CC's, and Dutch Bros, and 7Brew. Obviously, there is not a need for another fast food hamburger spot there either with Wendy's, McDonalds, Whataburger, Atomic Burger all in the same place. But if my two options are Starbucks or Cook Out, I'm taking Cook Out...even though I've never eaten at a Cook Out

I remember going there first time I lived in SC and discovering they have chicken nuggets as a "side"

The burgers were decent, more BK flame-broiled taste

I'd still pay extra and go to Atomic Burger down street for burger and shake though

Popular with students because it’s cheap. Burgers are decent. Cool menu…if you order a combo or whatever, sides include corn dog, quesadilla, wraps, nuggets, etc in addition to the usual fries and onion rings. They also have a large selection of milkshake flavors.
