why does everyone on here always say this? According to this board, no one here has had fast food in over 5 years

I'm a Wendy's and BK man.
Just thought I wanted a Mcd cheeseburger that day.

Best:

Jeffrey's in Austin. Excellent restaurant every single time I visit.

Worst:

Perry's steakhouse. I've been to 2 locations in the last few months, Austin (Domain) and Houston (Energy Corridor) and both of them were terrible. Everything was salted to a nearly inedible state, especially the salads, and this comes from a coonass who oversalts everything. My entire party both times complained about everything. I can't believe this place is thriving in both of those locations like they are.

Best: Granny's Tacos in Austin, their chilaquile taco was fantastic

Worst: Thunderbird pizza in Dallas, Its a Detroit style spinoff of Cane Rosso pizza. It wasn't bad flavors but way too dry, more of a cheese toast thing.

It hasn't been packed, we go there by default as we have some friends that live nearby and we meet them for drinks.
This was our first time back since maybe last April since we are only in New Orleans from December to May

Worst: Southern Pearl Oyster House in BTR. Sent the raw oysters back because they looked like the shucked them with a hammer. Grilled oysters were cooked to oblivion and were boogers.

Best: Suire’s Kaplan. Turtle Sauce Piquant w/fried fish and potato salad.

Best - Element 47 earlier last month in Aspen while on vacation. One of the best experiences I have had. Would highly recommend if anyone visits Aspen this winter to ski.

Worst - Shocked to say it but Commanders Palace. From beginning to end - the whole this was way off. Had to wait over 45 minutes after reservation time for table and we’re not allowed to grab drinks while we waited. Service was extremely slow and not very good (delivered wrong plates to wrong people multiple times). Main course was not edible do to amount of salt on the dish. I know staffing is a huge issue but I hopefully they get it back going soon as it’s one of my favorite places in the city to eat.

It never seems busy when I go but there are always at least 5 or so tables occupied.

Hwy 30/Tanger exit next door to that boot store. Opened a few months ago, small menu with mostly sandwiches & burgers (check their website).

I’ve been once, picked up their version of a roast beef poboy in the drive thru. Not a traditional Nola RB poboy but it was a very good sandwich.

I believe the Lorenzo's only run the original. Regardless, any location besides Navigation is awful.

Best: Some daiquiri place by Cabellas in Gonzales. Was really fricking good and the burger I had was well cooked.
