One of my favorite dishes in NJ
I always have a problem believing that someone hasn't heard this or other songs. Then I have to put it in context, when I was a kid (I'm 60), my parents always played albums, so music was on in the house quite often, especially during the day. Ray Charles, the Beatles, Herb Alpert, etc. The radio was always on, I had an older sister who was listening to led zeppelin, Springsteen etc. my uncle had a room at his house with albums, reel to reel tape decks etc. I was exposed to a lot of music and have always listened to music.

Last year, we went to see Paul McCartney and one the way there, the Lyft driver asked what we were going to do, we told her we were going to see Paul McCartney and she said she wasn't familiar with him. We mentioned the Beatles, again she said she wasn't familiar with them.

I was dumfounded, but then realized she was a 25-30 year old black woman who grew up in New Orleans East. So would not have been exposed to it.

I always like seeing "kids" listening to things I listened to in the late 70s-80s. Makes me think that their parents are doing a good job.

The recipe I use is pretty similar except mine also has anchovy paste
I took three weeks off from mid December to Jan 5.

Now, I work from home so popped on the computer each morning for an hour or so to check emails, send emails to files, issue payments etc.

After that I was free to do whatever.

I have taken my computer overseas to do the same, the thought of coming back to tons of emails stresses me out too much
My dad just brought a little igloo cooler with buds to my little league/pony/babe Ruth/high school games and drank them, unless the concession stand where we were playing sold beers. Mid 70s through 83.

Yep, there was a post about it a couple of days ago
I'm 8-4 East Coast time and that includes lunch. So 7-3 central time zone. Fridays are an hour earlier for end of day.

I did left the house yesterday and traffic was miserable from 2:30 until 4 when we got home.

I don't live around the corner and look forward to it lol
Turns out is wasn't Shaya, folks from La petite grocery bought it

Technically not true, you have to put a quarter in the slot, but get your quarter back when you return the cart to the stall
It's not an everyday shop kind of place. Selection is limited.

If we are having a party we will pick up knock off hummus brands, cheese, things like that.

I don't get the appeal.

Now I much prefer Lidl over Aldi, the same but I think Lidl is the better of the two.

This was considered an old person's restaurant when I was going there in the early 80s to grab dinner before our baseball games that night
He's touring and playing the Stone Pony Summer stage this year, I may have to walk down and listen for a bit.

Sorry for your loss, we just put down ours the Monday before Christmas. It was time, 15 years old, meds for seizures for two and a half years, recently was breathing heavy and panting, took him in and had a mass in his lung.
