I used bat tubes made out of clear plastic; sat in a lawn chair with a beer in the evening and watched them slide/crawl down until they were all gone in a couple of nights. Stuffed stainless steel wool in the soffit cracks where they were entering, better than sealant because it lets the house breathe as designed. You Tube has videos on the process.
Did they cross any time zones upon descent? That, along with time change and nautical minutes will really screw up the calcs.
re: What is the derogatory name used for people in your state
Posted by Cubera on 11/5/25 at 11:16 am to travelgamer
In South Dakota they call the Dutch farmers Hollanders; they are perceived to run crappy dairy farms. I thought it was the last name of the people and just a common name. Come to find out it’s like the N word to call them that.

.410 Bore = 67.5 gauge

Knew a Creole in NOLA; they lived in and generally associated with black communities. He said he asked his dad why this was and his dad said “If they gonna treat us like Ns, we might as well act like Ns.”

Never bothered to learn how to post photos or I would search for a guy with a bee sting going into anaphylaxis for the first guy.

Russell Moccasin custom hunting boots.
Gut, score, grill with butter like others said. Meat around the head is fantastic. Skin is good too. It will look like Sylvester the cat ate it when you are done.
re: Chris Blair radio call

It’s radio, more important to wait an extra second and describe the play correctly then do the Hawthorne special and say “Crushed to Deep right! Center fielder coming in. It’s gonna drop! And the 3rd basemen makes the catch.” It was brutal to listen to him, in such a rush to make the call and was wrong more often than not. And gave Inning and Score info every 3-4 innings at best. With those scars, I’ll suffer through Blaire.

Gonna be some jacked up trucks parked in ditches, side of road, sideways in the grass lot, etc.

‘96 Toyota T-100 V6 Extended Cab 4WD. Last truck I’ve had with a manual transfer shift. Sold it with just over 300k miles, original engine and drive train. Didn’t work well for hailing kids.
May be functional but looks like shite. All it needs is a cutout in the tin for the trailer tongue to stick out to be 100% Louisiana.

Baton Rouge around LSU is loaded.
Angle Grinder. Good to sharpen garden tools, cut off rusted bolts, and lots of other random things.

A vote for anyone other than Ted James is a vote for SWB.
I overseed with rye only because I have dogs and it keeps the backyard from turning into a winter mud-hole. It is very good for my situation (I also have a lawn guy to deal with cutting it).
“Dupont Circle location in Washington, DC”
Story checks out. In DC, Dupont Circle is also known as “the Fruit Loop.”

I bought my son a Benelli Montefeltro that came with both a youth and adult stock. Great quality gun, he’s grown now and uses it for all sorts of things. As someone said, a gun for life.
Be weary of people who use irregardless, the are probably not very smart.
