re: Craft Beer: We know it is dying

To me Cypress has the best beer out of all of them, although Rally Cap seems to have the biggest backers
Why is that? Is it because you believe crime is worse?
I meant before social media we didn't know how bad things were, kids walked to school with no problem, now you won't see that because parents are scared

You are looking at players asking for 10m eventually, for a college it isn't sustainable. You need extremely deep pockets and on on June which frankly LSU doesn't have if you are looking at 10m for legit players

These top players getting 5-7m are killing it imo..
It is not sustainable at its current method as players keep asking for more and more.
When you account for free tuition, tutoring, housing, meals, clothing, etc how much are they really worth?

Ok player spends X amount on stupid stuff and flaunts in on social media then transfers at the end of the season for more money....
Craft Beer: We know it is dying
Posted by Falco on 7/22/26 at 10:10 pm
So what keeps you going back?
Baton Rouge has a few:
Cypress- high quality beer and a nice variety (not kid friendly)
Rally Cap- pizza plus decent beer and sports (kid friendly)
Grain Creations - decent beer and a ton of activities (kid friendly)
Le Chien- local and a solid food menu (kid friendly)
Gilla- tons of sours but IPA's but tend to sit, but only brewery in AP (not kid friendly)
These are the breweries that are currently thriving in BR and surrounding areas. What more could they do to bring in clients?

Can LSU afford 30-40m on football contacts moving forward? Seaton is a prime example of he struggles moving to another school after spending 5+ million.
What is LSU's NIL budget?

We see players like Seaton flaunting spending 50k on designer bags, so what is the yearly budget and is it sustainable?
I mean I feel it is safer, crime stats are down but I feel social media has publicized things so much
Let's Talk MLB: Has the 2nd Wild Card been beneficial?
Posted by Falco on 7/22/26 at 9:18 pm
It has given more teams a chance but I feel it has neutered the trade deadline
re: What’s more appealing: DC, Boston, NY, Chicago, SF, Denver, Seattle

I've been to all of those locations and feel Boston is the best
For those old enough: Is Baton Rouge Safer?

In the 80's
In the 90's
In the 00's
In the 10's
In the 20's
Now the big question is it safer or worse but has social media made it seem one particular way? Personally I feel it is safer but I feel everything is blown out of proportion because social media and the fact that every indiscretion is now online .

Is it illegal to post stupid LSU players?

Just curious because the Jordan Seaton video of him spending 50k on designer bags for his GF has been deleted multiple times.
Is it about protecting the athletes? The brand? What?

Just got that notification myself, fricking ouch but definitely opens up a spot depending on Kurtz

Angels making Zach Neto available, Astros have Pena and Correa, Pirates making Cruz available, Reds have Steer.... Ton of players rumored that would be huge deals besides Skubal/CJ.
Trout should waive his no trade and go to Philadelphia for Painter+

Curious where he goes when Kurtz comes back. 3B but they've had Gelof and Kuroda playing well there.... Maybe 3B/DH/1B

Tigers are 6.5 of the central and 4.5 of the Wild Card. They have one of the best records since June 1st. They also play on of the easiest schedules through the beginning of August

I don't see the Tigers, Twins, Red Sox, or Jays selling
I honestly feel Mets, Angels, Rockies, KC, and the Giants are the only real sellers. Wild Card has muddied the market with too many teams still in contention

What movie used fake previews from cut footage?
