No Mike Anderson’s?
In all honesty, never ate there during that period.
Definitely solid now.
I will add Brunet's. That was the bomb.

Mike Anderson‘s was the tits back in the mid 80s. Had many a great meal there with my parents coming down to see us in school.
I’d love to do that again.

Acadian Seafood that was out by Jubans was pretty good. I worked there when Marco owned it, and once Doc took it over. Those little ladies from Laos knew how to cook up some pretty tasty seafood back in the day.

Burnet’s was great. Incredible Friday night hang. They knew how to pour a drink. Stuffed mushrooms were next level.

Mike Anderson’s
Ralph and Kakoo’s
Giomanco’s
Those were the three I frequented, and I lived in Baton Rouge from 1980 - 1983.

I have memory going regularly to this place called the Catfish Shack (not Catfish Town) in BR as kid. Thinking it was somewhere around Lee Drive and Highland. Mainly remember it as it had the Spy Hunter arcade game that I loved. Anyone else remember this place?

Wow, where did you find the old menu?
I grew up going to Brunet's, but I was a child still, so my memory is hazy. All I recall was the big boat mural on the wall outside, the free crackers and butter we'd devour, and that they gave you iced waters in small cups right off the bat, which wasn't as common back then as it is now (or, not at the places my family went).
