I am so pissed about everything that has taken place and hope to hell Trump takes the whole thing down. But either way the Republican Party has some serious long term issues coming out of this. Will be interesting to see what evolves.

Was it the republican party that sacked primary opponents so the corrupt candidate can win?

The previous leadership in the republican party was the problem and Trump was the suicide bomb to purge it. frick the Bushes, Romney, Lindsey Graham, and all those other frickheads. It's time for Rand and other non establishment leaders take over.

Reps. as they exist today, will not recover. The population has outgrown their ideals. I've voted republican in every election since 1994, I'm not hatin'

The way I see it is...

Trump has done irreversible damage to the conservative brand no matter what happens today. If he loses, he will divide our electorate permanently when he launches trump TV. If he wins, the media will crucify him for every little thing unfairly. Win or loss aside, he has done a lot of damage to conservatism in the minds of young voters, who mostly consider him a crazy misogynistic racist, and now think that is what conservatives typically are.

The ONLY way this comes out better for conservatism is if Trump wins and is a very good president, which all things considered seems extremely unlikely.

No. the Republican Party is fricked. That's why Trump won RNC. I think a lot of republican are now really independents and will remain so.

frick the establishment. Look how they handled this election.

Paul, Ryan, Cruz, etc... All cried and bitched like little pussies when they lost the primaries, withdrew support from him, never once called out Hillary, etc....

frick them. frick the GOP.

They basically campaigned for Clinton. They can all eat a dick.

Even if Trump loses, I hope he motivated and moved enough local efforts and campaigns that the Senate and the House can start to see some changes and local elections start to change.

Because one thing is for goddamn sure, Hillary Clinton with an establishment Congress and a full set Supreme Court will destroy this country.

If you think your life won't change, you're blind.

Right now I very much dislike the Republican Party, and, I don't see anything in the foreseeable future that could change that. I really hate losers, and, the GOP is really the party of losers.

The establishment, including the media and the democrats, want the Republican Party of 2000-2015 to keep trucking just like they were.

If Trump loses, they will do everything they can to make it seem like his populism was a mistake. People like Ryan will get favorable treatment.
If we lose this one, we need to batten down the hatches and prepare to lose a bunch more while we fight to destroy neoconservatism. It's not going down without a fight.

If Trumps win the party will be fine. If Trumps loses the party is effectively dead.
