It did last year, but this year went back to just best record, which is how it has been since they stopped using the All-Star game result.

Fair points, and totally get and understand that Eovaldi is an absolute gamer and could rise up. Just looking at any silver lining that I can to help me feel better about the Astros offense’s chances Good convo

I for one do not want Game 7

I agree but be prepared for it. The Astros’ franchise record in clinching games, especially in the first clinching game of a series, is awful.

There are lots of reasons to want an Astros-Braves World Series. For me, it comes down to a simple fact that I hate the Dodgers, going all the way back to when Dusty Baker played for them.

Reports yesterday said he's "highly doubtful" to pitch again this year. He's probably done.

As much as I would love to blame dusty for the loss of this series you can't really put it on him. Click and crane effed him with the pitching depth and the umps and national media had it in for this team.

Found this gif today. May wanna keep it handy depending on how this wknd plays out

I was living n htown at the time and will never forget it. Most of my friends were at the Texans game but I was too hungover and on the couch locked in for all 18 innings. Burkie became an htown legend that Sunday afternoon

I already liked him as much as I can like anyone on the A's because he's on my fantasy team... but now I really like him.
