 enjoy your relegation battle
And I guess just to highlight how big a deal it is, Brighton is 8 pts behind Villa, so a pretty big deal if Aston Villa can get a win
If Villa were to win and they qualify through the Europa league, and they finish in top 5 in the PL, the 6th place team gets a spot as well.

If Villa doesn't win then they'll HAVE to finish in top 5 obviously.

Brighton, Bournemouth, Chelsea, Brentford, Fulham, Everton, Sunderland are all at or 4 pts away from the 6th spot.

Forest wins 1-0 vs Villa

Some CL spot implications if Villa doesn't win
Braga up 1-0 on Freiburg

Freiburg tie it up

Palace scores 26 seconds into their game
Yeah, I was just focused on the video, just grabbed a random tweet with it
Also, not sure I want to see Trossard in an Arsenal jersey ever again.

Lord he was bad today, first touch he had he started doing his spinning thing and lost it 10m from our own box.

Just a total liability out there. Since the purple patch he had in Oct-Dec or so he's been absolutely shambolic
Still nuts to me that they overturned the pen.

What did the ref see that was clear and obvious that it wasn't a pen? So perplexing

Like what are we doing here?

Is Timber dead? He's been out for like 6 weeks now

Yet Arsenal are 16th in the premier league at scoring from open play.

Just a completely made up number

We're like 4th at worst
We didn't even get control of the ball till the 80' minute

actually can see Arsenal putting 11 men behind the ball at home and snatching a corner goal to win. Seems to be Artetas schtick.

I'm not sure where this comes from, we rarely do that. The attack is inept, yes, but we do try.

Just because they are defensively compact doesn't mean they put 11 behind the ball. The wingers track back is the only real difference vs other teams
Not the result I wanted, but doesn't kill us either.

Go beat Fulham and win the 2nd leg

He's never had half the attacking firepower.

We've signed 3 attackers total since 21-22 season.

Pep gets a couple every year and just changes em out till he finds the right ones.

I mean they got Marmoush last January for $60-70 or whatever and he'll get shipped out this summer

It's another reason why we haven't won a PL in 22 years

I mean ultimately this teams needs better attackers, but when you're normal 3 starters have been injured for large parts of the season, this shite happens

A far fall from the former only European style EPL team

We used to get wrecked regularly by 8-2, 10-2, 6-1 in the champions league playing that way

can see that, isn't that why they signed Zubi for initially as a deep lying playmaker?

That's how he was billed, and did some of it early on in the season, he's either lost confidence or is super fatigued. This is the most he's ever played

[embed]He refuses to play Odegaard in his actual 10 position. He has him dropping all the way behind rice/zuba and between the centerbacks sometimes.[/embed]

That's because Zubi & Rice don't receive the ball well and don't dribble out of pressure well
