Hopefully he is able to give his team some length and hand the ball over a rested bullpen.

If Garcia goes long and strong... I'll be long and strong as well...

Hopefully they figured something out. If he can get us through 4 or so with a lead or in striking distance I feel good. I am confident we can score on the Boston bullpen once we get to it

we need to jump on Eovaldi early and often. Good Abs and make him press

he is going to try to make up for Tuesday, cant give him the satisfaction

Garcia won't get out of the 1st. He's mentally done. Bet the house on Boston.

I doubt he gets to the first. He’s going to trip over a laundry cart in the clubhouse and injure himself pregame.

Hopefully Eovaldi will have sort of the same issues Urias had after he came from a relief outing.

That's a lot to ask for a guy who is probably so married to his routine. Game 4 could have been his bullpen day, but a typical bullpen day probably doesn't include 25 max effort pitches in a tied game in front of 40k plus.

it may be, but he’s done much more successfully in the playoffs in his career.

Not betting the house but definitely betting Boston. Bet 100 the last two games and will gladly lose another tonight for the greater good of the Astros!

LFG Astros!!

Let's do this.

So our wish list reads as follows:

--Win tonight
--Braves/Dodgers go 7 with Braves winning Sunday
--Lance has a miracle recovery and can pitch in the WS

Need the damn Braves to get their shite together. I'd like to beat Dodgers again but frankly I think the Braves are more beatable on personnel (though the Nats proved that doesn't really matter) plus the whole narrative around an Astros-Dodgers world series would create a huge distraction. For my part I'd like to just play baseball.

Of course this all hinges on getting past the Sox first. Let's get that part taken care of.

I'd enjoy an Astros/Braves series more than Astros/Dodgers, but... more important is to beat the Red Sox. FTRS!

He threw out of the bullpen 4 times in the 2018 postseason, and never had to follow those outings up with a start. This is the first time he's doing that.

For those of you going to game tonight, just saw this.

Heads up Astros fans heading to Game 6 tonight! TxDOT will be closing the Southwest Freeway heading south at 9 p.m. Friday. This will affect those traveling areas south of the 610 Loop. The freeway will reopen at 5 a.m. Saturday.

TxDOT acting like LADOTD with poorly timed closures =)

Im in Prague rt now

First pitch is 2 am

I’m drinking and doing cultural things with the group, but when I use my VPN to stream FS1 at 2 am, Garcia better show up this time. LOL

Isn't this redundant in Prague?

He came out of the bullpen in games 1 and 2 against the Dodgers and then, in a 16 inning game in game 3, pitched 97 pitches in 6 innings of relief to save the Boston pen. Boston scored 8 on the Dodgers gassed pen the next game.
