I am hearing Mel Tucker will not be considered for the lsu job, One of the main factors is that he has a very large buyout.

I don’t see Campbell leaving ISU after he turned down the NFL last year. They do lose a bunch of seniors after this year but the underclass men are really upgraded recruiting wise.

I agree he shouldn’t be considered but the buyout won’t be why. We’d pay any amount for a guy like Fickell or Reilly

So LSU pays O his full buyout. We pay the WBB coach over $2M per year and all of a sudden money is an issue? I mean, agree it should make sense financially but I doubt his $19M buyout eliminates him if he is who they really want... but it's not my money so they aren't gonna ask me

I hope you are right but looking at what I found online his buyout doesn't look too bad
Michigan State signed Tucker to a six-year contract with a $5.5 million annual salary. The buyout for taking another job in college or the NFL was $6 million if he left by Jan. 15, 2021, but dropped to $2.5 million for leaving between Jan. 16, 2021 and Jan. 15, 2022. It declines by $500,000 in subsequent years.

Mel Tucker is unqualified.
Most of these dudes want Aranda or Franklin. And would be stoked to have someone like Tomlin, who isn’t in consideration, but has been wishlisted multiple times.
Not a snowflake. Just don’t want an affirmative action hire to a program that brings in $100M revenue that is make or break based on the next hire. fricking idiot.
