re: For first time ever, 1% own more wealth than entire middle class

Why? Beyond it creating an emotional reaction in you, why?
How was that emotional? I’m a homeowner and I make a little over 100K a year. I live in a relatively cheap (for now) city and I have no complaints.
I’ve also clearly traveled more than you have. We have too many people living in poverty and our middle class doesn’t live nearly as well as many European countries and even, frick, some of the developed Asian countries.
Dumbass.

Aranda and Tucker have almost the same resume. Only difference is our fans’ familiarity with Aranda
That’s a huge difference though. I think most people are aware that Aranda has a small sample size as head coach.

frick you for being disrespectful
Pathological consumerism among the lower classes is absolutely driving wealth inequality
They are buying mountains of shite instead of building their wealth
Amazon prime orders make a difference but 1% owning more than the entire middle class is a jaw dropping amount. It’s not about spending from the middle class. At all.
The income distribution in this country is absolutely absurd.

Mel Tucker is unqualified.
Most of these dudes want Aranda or Franklin. And would be stoked to have someone like Tomlin, who isn’t in consideration, but has been wishlisted multiple times.
Not a snowflake. Just don’t want an affirmative action hire to a program that brings in $100M revenue that is make or break based on the next hire. fricking idiot.

Yeah, Georgia, Alabama and Florida are all gonna fire their coaches for black guys because it worked for LSU. fricking terrible.

When half of them transfer or get injured are they really 5th, 4th, 3rd? Plus you have to coach the talent, doesn’t matter what they did in high school… I’d rather a real coach who know what to do with players
They’ve been “injured” because of a non competitive season(s).
If you transfer from LSU after/before a competitive season, it means you’re not good enough

This game is on CBS? Holy shite.

On everything else but titles (prestige, overall school, state, money, etc.) UGA is superior
Prestige??? As a university and overall school, sure, but 3, 4 and 5 star recruits aren’t playing college football to major in biomedical engineering or some legit major.
Money, yes, definitely. But we just bought out the second highest paid coach in college football. And our future national championships will makeup for the discrepancies, I’m sure.
PRESTIGE. BRAND??? Dude, I’m 34 and grew up in the 90s. I didn’t even know Georgia had a football team when I was a kid. We’ve owned their asses most years, and when we didn’t they still couldn’t seal the deal. Georgia is an untalented version of Greg Norman.
We won 3 titles with 3 coaches. Georgia has... well, you know. Nothing.

Thanks for this!
Did a damn good job. Why didn’t we listen to him before, and if he continues to show up, do we keep him?
Does this mean that dudes are better off chemistry wise without Ricks and the other guys who quit?
I think the way we looked last week, defense or not, even with Noodle Arm I think we pull off the upset.

1. Alabama - T-town sux but Saban has built it into a powerhouse and that legacy will last a while)
2. USC - Hollywood, Rose bowl, so-cal weather, incredible brand
3. Texas - Huge brand, almost unlimited $$ and resources
4. Notre Dame - history, brand, legacy,
5. LSU - only school that can say it's last 3 coaches have all won National Championships.
Terrible list. Tuscaloosa is a shite hole, no one wants to follow Saban, and just because they’re the most consistently elite team means NOTHING for the future
USC is a dumpster fire. Being in L.A. trumps every college location in the country (except maybe some of the Florida schools) but you’re a college football coach. During the season you don’t have time for Hollywood, and you’re making so much money that in the offseason when you do have time, fricking go to Hawaii.
Texas hasn’t been relevant in 20 years.
Notre Dame hasn’t been relevant in a million years.
LSU is the best of these jobs. Baton Rouge sucks, but 6+ million a year gets you a home in the Bahamas pretty easily.

Bravo to you, sir. I agree.
That being said my first choice is Franklin because Fickell and Freeze ain't coming.
I'm spending way too much time obsessing over this, I need to find a hobby
re: Scott Woodward is too smart to take a risk with Mel Tucker
Posted by Mike Erhmantraut on 10/18/21 at 5:12 pm to Springlake Tiger
He's 17th in recruiting in Michigan and hasn't beaten anyone. We have a big chance to knock it out of the park. This is a make or break hire for the team and for Woodward. Why would we waste it on a forced minority hire?
I think we could lure Franklin here. None of us gives a shite what color he is. But Franklin is way more qualified and after Fickell I think he's the top candidate.

Penn State is 2nd.
But yeah, let's go with the dude who's less qualified even though there are plenty of white people ahead of him. Not to mention Aranda.

frick this. I hope they yank some money because of this. Franklin is black and my first choice (because there's no way in hell Fickell leaves Ohio). Aranda is a minority and my second choice. Both better choices.
It's going to be hard to get excited for LSU football knowing that they're fricking racist. They're the enemy they claim to be fighting. Fabricating oppression that doesn't exist.

Gotta be Franklin. Dude will never get over the hump at Penn State. LSU has the talent and recruiting to go head to head with Bama. Bama is on the way down, Saban is burning out.
In the future it will be LSU and Georgia. And we’ve made them our bitch most years.
I just checked recruiting for 2022. I’m sure we’ll lose a few but as of now we have like 12 of the top 15 recruits in Louisiana.
With Franklin we become the next dynasty.
