Damned vaccinated people all up in their face probably, having been convinced by Biden that they can't catch it thus can't spread it. Mm mmm mm.

So when and how do they identify?

What I've been told - I've never actually verified this - is they send a big chunk of samples off for further testing. They use the % of those samples to estimate the prevalence of any given strain.

It's crazy how kork has hitched his wagon to this. Seems like a very logical person with most everything else. But with this he seems to go of the rails.

You all realize that if covid killed as many fat people as you say, there would be whales laid out all in the street and the only healthy people would be left. It ain’t killing that many fat people either.

It's not killing that many fat people, but most of the people it is killing are fat.

If there is a treatment such as Ivermectin that is being withheld for political reasons or to protect pharma profits, I would counter that is murder and not Darwin

Let me guess, they BOTH happened to tell the nurses to tell the media they said everyone needs the jab?

I'm shocked that was left out the story. Seems obligatory.

Where's the articles about the millions that have survived without issues?

Like my mid-70's mom and dad with multiple comorbities that include heart disease and COPD? Or my brother who had a bad cough for a few days? Or my best friends that have it right now, and just got back from a relaxing boat ride?

BTW, my friend asked our doctor (we use the same doc) about prescribing ivermectin, and was told that he was prohibited from prescribing that for COVID.

Depends on what your definition of “many” is.

If you believe the official count, that’s 600k Americans for the past two years.

Even if it’s half that, most would probably consider 300k as “many.” The best figure is probably taking a look at excess deaths since many of the older people killed would have died during the last two years anyway. Not sure what the number is currently.

ETA from the CDC:
quote:

During January 26, 2020–February 27, 2021, an estimated 545,600–660,200 more persons than expected died in the United States from all causes

Correction: nearly all of the people it is killing are fat.

Interesting news fabrication: they said he "died of the delta variant." What I've been told so far is they don't identify the strain individually.

So likely this news station just wanted to ratchet up some delta variant fear porn.

Well it was an ABC affiliate so it’s it’s likely they are part of the media misinformation machine.

This is what I read a whole back as well. Once a strain hits a certain level of prevalence it’s assumed there is a very high probability a positive test is that strain.

The media can drive whatever fricking narratives they want. Kinda like how they focus on the minuscule number of black folks who are killed by police but ignore other more serious issues.
