There's no way this thing has time to get to a 4 now right?
Looks like more fear porn that didn’t materialize at this point. Unless something crazy happens overnight

10pm CT advisory is coming out, Still calling for 130mph sustained winds at landfall. Waiting on the new cone.

Sounds like they don’t know why the speeds aren’t picking up with the pressure drops
They don’t know because both recon flights had mechanical trouble today and they haven’t been able to hardly sample the storm.

Another shift east of about 15-20 miles. Houma now west of the NHC prediction and Morgan City now almost out of the cone completely.

I’m not to far from you and I am hoping the east track continues. I don’t wish this shite on anyone but 20-30 miles away on the good side of the storm makes a HUGE difference!!
frick you.

Thanks for giving me any little bit of hope. I can deal with damage, but I can’t deal with another flood so soon, this time with no electricity. I think that will be it for me and Baton Rouge.
Never had any flooding issues til across the street was developed![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconbanghead.gif)

That is surprising. What’s keeping it from blowing up?
I think it has more to do with the lack of recon in the storm myself.

I don’t think it moved much east at all. The edge of the cone on the western side is closer but the track didn’t appear to change.

Well that sucks.
I need to try to sleep tonight so I can deal with whatever comes tomorrow. Doesn’t look good.

I’m glad I evacuated to the east eye wall

There has been little change to the track forecast rationale.
Just post this every two pages. LOL
