A shipyard laborer stole paint from the supply shed and buried it so he could come back later to retrieve. His mistake was that he painted his house with it. His house was on the road that I drove on to get to work everyday, the paint was a primer that we used to paint barges, as soon as I saw it the jig was up.

Fired and arrested.

Had one of my cooks leave his dope kit in the bathroom….all those breaks he attributed to having an upset stomach….turns out he was just shooting heroin. Same guy later got arrested for defrauding an elderly couple for like $80k.

First job out of college was for a software sales company. In the support departments night shift, one of the reps uploaded some homemade software to move his mouse make random comments that he had recorded and make keyboard clicking sounds. they were in small cubicles and he slept the entire time.


I used to work for one of my sister's trade schools while in high school and college. Once had to tell a student his pell money had been exhausted because he had taken too long in school and it was his last week unless he could make a payment. He left for lunch and robbed a bank.

Wow, that dude probably could have been arrested for that. That was straight up reckless and dangerous

One of the ER nurses I worked with had the serious sads one day.

One of his classmates he was close to was caught stealing by shorting the patients meds and injecting herself in an ankle port she gave herself at another hospitals ER. She was caught when she passed out in the patient bathroom that place used for cancer types who would come in with clogged bowels to make use of. They sent her to rehab but did not fire her.

Such a drug addict as to install a device to make it easier to inject stolen drugs, passed out while on shift, and still employed. What a world.

I know who this is.

Witnessed a former coworker a long time ago have a full on meltdown/panic attack in a break room once. She was throwing sugar and creamer and slamming things. Was quite an epic display, she got sent home and was required to do counseling before returning.

Porn, but it was the way they got caught.

One situation, there was this guy at work that people who were the last ones to leave noticed that this particular guy was always still at work.

Evidently his boss was made aware of it and requested IT give him the guy's entry card data. He was staying at work until 8-9PM, would go in on weekends for several hours.. He was spending a lot more time in the office than what he was billing so that raised some red flags.

Without going onto more detail although the dude set up his own wireless so he could look at porn without getting caught, he was saving a bunch of pictures and videos in his folder on the network.

Another situation. I worked a project in which the safety guy use to always flirt with all the women. When the project was getting closer to the end, since he kept asking for an assistant, when they started letting people go, they asked this one girl if she would like to stay to be his assistant.

Him and the assistant (a female) became close and he would tell her everything. There was this girl who worked in procurement who evidently used to be a stripper. She sent the picture to the safety dude and one day he told his assistant about the picture and opened it up on his work computer.

Something happened and the safety dude and his assistant had a knock down drag out over something so she went to their manager and told him that the safety dude had nude pictures of other employees on his computer and that he shows them to people, her being one of them. The safety guy then claimed the assistant had sexually assaulted him and both of them ended up getting fired.
