What's wrong, Nancy? Having trouble enjoying your cold Zima? Go tell your boyfriend about it.

Which is why I don't mind their bat shite crazy politics. They'll destroy themselves.

Then they'll fan out to sane states and vote for the same policies.

This bill is especially dumb. 70% of the world's carbon emissions come from the 100 largest corporations. Let them go green and I'll listen.

This is dumb but I will say that I will never buy gas powered lawn tools again. I’ll keep a gas powered mower but weed eaters, blowers, edgers etc are all battery powered these days. My ego stuff is simpler, quieter, lighter, basically maintenance free and does just as good of a job as the gas burners I used to run.

Leftists: "ACAB! Defund the police!"

Also Leftists: "Let's pass even more idiotic virtue signaling legislation that we'll rely on the police to enforce*"

*Who we'll criticize when they do enforce it

The two-stroke leaf blower was worse still, generating 23 times the CO and nearly 300 times more NMHC than the crew cab pickup. Let's put that in perspective. To equal the hydrocarbon emissions of about a half-hour of yard work with this two-stroke leaf blower, you'd have to drive a Raptor for 3,887 miles, or the distance from Northern Texas to Anchorage, Alaska

Keep changing your oil and making trips to the gas station. I’m sorry for anyone who has gone with Walmart brand electric lawn equipment, of course it’s garbage. Try some quality brands and eat crow.

Best way to combat this?

Ask why California is racist against Mexican lawn workers.

If you want to do that, go ahead, but don’t force it on everyone else.

This! When I had a very small lawn I was able to use a self pushed reel mower and a 40 volt edger/weed wacker.

But that option wont work once you have half an acre or more.

I will say.....plenty of americans could use pushing one of these around an hour a week.

I do over an acre with electric tools, technology advances, will never go back to gas. My buddy mows two acres with a electric rider on one charge, that will likely be my next purchase. I could not care less about any environmental benefit, I want performance, convience, lack of noise. My latest purchase a Greenworks 16 inch chainsaw is incredible, cut oak firewood all day on one charge, no hearing protection, no mixing gas, no starting issues. Gave away my almost new Sthil.

Just bought an ego mower to replace my old honda. Thing is badass and cuts just as well as the gas mower. I can get two mows out of the battery before I have to charge it.

So, <1 gal of carbon/hydrogen in a lawnmower yields more undesireable byproducts than >20 gal in an F150? This cannot be true for CO2, and I am having a hard time believing it is true for other constituents. Perhaps NOx or CO? Please provide a link. Thanks.

When was that test run and on what equipment? The “new” carbs are set extremely lean causing the equipment to run hotter producing less pollution. Also over what time period? I have a big driveway, and even I can get about at least month out of a full tank on my blower. How many tanks did that 150 burn in that time? I doubt they compared apples to apples. Maybe run the test with 1 tank in a blower and 4 tanks in the 150. There is a time factor to consider too. I’d like to see the link too.
