Love how Louisiana (who consistently ranks dead last in education) constantly calls everyone else’s ideas stupid.

Got to love it, Cali had it's problems and crazies for sure but it's not consistently ranked at or near the bottom in every metric

An hour of exhaust from a lawn mower is equivalent to driving an F150 for a full tank of gas. Backpack blowers are much worse. I’m all about switching to electric lawn and garden equipment. Plus you don’t smell like fumes while you enjoy a cold one after yard work.

it takes gas power to run the machines to make beer. Thus, you shouldnt be drinking beer since its bad for the earth.

So, <1 gal of carbon/hydrogen in a lawnmower yields more undesireable byproducts than >20 gal in an F150? This cannot be true for CO2, and I am having a hard time believing it is true for other constituents. Perhaps NOx or CO? Please provide a link. Thanks.

Solar powered lawn mowers? Is that the alternative here?

Battery powered electric

I've heard there pretty great for small lawns

But from an environmental standpoint it doesn't make sense to get rid of working equipment

Doesn't California already have rolling power grid black or brown outs due to electricity production not meeting demand?
So the logic is to put additional strain on the system and to continue to strangehold electricity production by regulation.

Battery powered lawn equipment is great if your yard is the size of a postage stamp.
This proposal sounds great if you don't know anything about lawn equipment or have no knowledge of equipment specs. Also if your agenda is to "save the planet" a law like this would give you an erection that would last more than 3 hours.
Only brain dead greenies and unicorn fart sniffers would like this law though so it is perfect to become a law in California.
