Right... because we surely don't need more vaccines... we have all the ones we need, right?

The J&J vaccine is less effective.

That's not what this thread is about and it's not what the church takes issue with.

As usual, people have an incorrect perspective of where these vaccines came from and are getting outraged over their misguided understanding.

I do. I also know a lot of Catholics that are on their second marriage without getting the first one annulled.

The Church's stance seems clear... more important to let adults die than use a 40 year old stem cell from an aborted baby.

The church believes it is more important to protect the unborn than to solve heath issues by harvesting the unborn. That is true.

However, in this case, the church is suggesting people use readily available alternative medicines instead of those built on embryotic stem cells.

I'm trying to figure you out. It's either a lack of intelligence, or an overconfidence in your intelligence. Either way, those more intelligence see right through your position.

You realize the Church is morally compromised, right?

I'm not sure what YOU mean by morally compromised. There have certainly been members of the church, HIGH ranking leaders at that, who have committed grave mortal sins.

I don't think anyone disputes that. But, only a moron would think that truth means the Church itself is unable to offer guidance on moral issue. That's your simple mind taking over.

Same church has no problem supporting a pro-childmurder President* and speaker of house.

Did God use King David, the one who murdered Uriah and committed adultery with Bathsheba, for good?

So now we are to disregard a life-saving vaccine because of stem cells that would otherwise end in a compost pile?

Who are these prima donna moralists trying to influence?

The church doesn't support harvesting the unborn to create medicines. I realize you may not agree, but this has been a very clear moral position for a long time.

Those who don't care for the unborn just don't see things the same way as those that believe human life begins at conception.

Interesting. Church would rather see people die, and society not return to normal, because already-aborted stem cells are used.

So this is the conclusion you draw from what you quoted?

Just because you are not perfect and you've committed moral wrongs doesn't mean you can't recognize immorality and advocate for less moral wrongs.
