Catholic Church says no to J&J VaccinePosted by LSUFanHouston

Interesting. Church would rather see people die, and society not return to normal, because already-aborted stem cells are used.
quote:
The Archdiocese of New Orleans is encouraging Catholics to consider choosing other coronavirus vaccines over the shot manufactured by Johnson and Johnson due to the use of cells derived from abortions.
The church issued a statement on Fri., Feb. 26, calling the Johnson and Johnson single-dose vaccine “morally compromised, as it uses the abortion-derived cell line in development and production of the vaccine as well as the testing.”
Interesting. Church would rather see people die, and society not return to normal, because already-aborted stem cells are used.

The Church would rather see those who choose to take a vaccine use other options.

So... delay getting the vaccine which causes potential issues?

Good to see the church stand for truth.
Seek out another vaccine that doesn't support baby killing.

Ironic term for the Catholic church to be calling someone else

No, the Catholic Church does not support abortion in any case and does not want its members to condone the method used to produce the J&J vaccine when alternative options are available.
The choice is not J&J or death.

It’s why we separate church and state.

Church would rather see adults acting responsibly and using one of the other options to avoid the need for abortions.
But you do you.
But you do you.

Catholic Church also told me not to have sex before marriage and I didn't listen then either.

the Archdiose of New Orleans is morally compromised too. I am asking you not to go to church, donate to church, or send your children to their schools.

Yea but they don’t care that Biden, who openly supports abortion, is president

This. I don't really see an issue here. I would be curious their take if the J&J was the only option.......

Is it an internal need to twist and distort an opinion so that you can believe it? Or, do you just view yourself as smart enough to fool people by doing it?

I was under the impression that all 3 vaccines used cells from aborted fetuses either in their research or final product, but I'm probably wrong.

The church isn’t morally compromised. There are people that are. I recognize you’re cool and It’s fun to bag on the Catholic Church but it’s still the foundation that Jesus Christ himself left us with. I know the downvotes will come but I’m tired of listening to internet heroes bashing me for my faith.

So it’s OK to rape and molest children (as long as you are in the clergy) but don’t get a vaccine from a company it that did some stem cell research?
Makes sense.
