Bishop of BR has a different opinion.

In his statement, Duca said that the Catholic Congregation of Doctrine has affirmed that receiving a vaccine that was "developed using cell lines of illicit origin" was acceptable, while keeping in mind that everyone has the duty to make known their disagreement and to ask that their healthcare system make other types of vaccines available.’”

The entire Catholic Church covered up children getting molested but there is a line with fetuses...

This sort of blanket statement is what makes arguing with fools so difficult. There are good people who are leaders in the Catholic Church. Was there corruption and horrific crimes and terrible disgusting things that took place for a while? Yes, but those things happen EVERY DAY in secular society. What makes it so hard to understand? There was pure evil in certain leadership roles within the church. Could you think of a more sinister plot than to perpetuate this sort of thing? Attack people of faith at the very institution that is supposed to be leading them to God and then cover it up for years. It’s terrible and disgusting. But my hope is not in a priest or a pope. My hope is not in a simple human man, but in the divine one who humbled himself to partake in our humanity and left us His Holy Spirit to guide and teach us. He told Peter, you are the rock upon which I build my church, and Peter went and denied Him 3 times!!! It started from the very beginning!

No he doesn't. Reread it properly.

The Roman Catholic bishop of Baton Rouge said Monday that members of his flock may, if no other options are available, receive a one-shot coronavirus vaccine developed by Johnson & Johnson, but  a preference should be given to "morally acceptable" options from Pfizer and Moderna.

Which is in line with what the Vatican suggests:
quote:

The Instruction Dignitas Personae, approved by Pope Benedict XVI, pointed out that “there exist differing degrees of responsibility”, because “in organizations where cell lines of illicit origin are being utilized, the responsibility of those who make the decision to use them is not the same as that of those who have no voice in such a decision.”

Therefore, argues the note published on Monday in summing up the Instruction of 2008, “when ethically irreproachable Covid-19 vaccines are not available”, it is “morally acceptable to receive Covid-19 vaccines that have used cell lines from aborted fetuses in their research and production process.”

Funny to go to mass and see two gods being worshipped. One scapular on the neck, one on the face

Yeah, everyone’s doing it so it’s less bad!

There’s a big difference here. Only one of those entities is trying to be some moral authority over every decision in life.

I think the Church's biggest issue with the aborted cells is that they did not grow in to children they could molest.

This is weird.

That’s a long time to keep a fetus.

Interesting. Church would rather see people die, and society not return to normal, because already-aborted stem cells are used.

Or, they don’t want to contribute to the delinquency of a morally corrupt and reprehensible system of genocide.

Human beings that were allowed to be born at least have an immune system to fight a virus. Aborted babies have no such hope of escape from their fate.

BTW, that which keeps you from returning to normal isn’t a virus, but politicians who thumb their nose at the Constitution, and have you all in on it.

There were other viable options for president but the church kept their mouth shut and let the guy who’s party supports late term abortions get elected

Sorry, that’s bullshite. Either stand up for your beliefs all the way or not at all. To come out and say you are against some random vaccine because it used kidney cells from 1972 is pretty pathetic when kids are being aborted everyday.

Hell on his first day in office Biden approved funding for international abortions

It’s a moral dilemma

Once you start justifying abortion for ANY reason, you go down a road of slicing the rationale to justify all sorts of outcomes

It’s really best to avoid justifying it imo. Abortion is wrong.

So you’d rather see babies be slaughtered for your benefit?

Its hilarious that you act as if you are on some kind of moral highground.

Good,
Not a practicing Catholic anymore but its good to see when people publicly stand behind their faith. LOL at the people getting butthurt. If you don't believe then why do you care what they say anyway?
