While she was pleasant to look at, one of the main things sticking in my memory was her new husband.

Horst Bucholz was introduced in the Magnificent Seven and expected to do big things. His role as her new husband was one of his last roles in Hollywood for a variety of reasons, including various issues forcing him out of West Side Story and Lawrence Of Arabia.

Frankie Starlight, 1995, auto biography of a dwarf looking back on the trials of his mother struggling to raise him in the ‘50s and on. Very well done and moving.

One, Two, Three, a 1961 screwball comedy set in 1961 West Berlin in the Cold War. Very funny movie by director Billy Wilder.

Damn good movie.

Johnny Got His Gun. The novel/movie that inspired the Metallica song One.

Familiar with it, haven’t seen it specifically because Metallica snapped up the rights for the One video and that fricked with its availability since the early 1990s.

Has a 90% RT score, an 83% RT audience score, a 7.5 IMDB score, won the Palme D'Or for Best Picture and Best Actress...

And I've never known another person that's seen it or ever heard it being talked about.

It's like it just faintly exists in the award universe but almost nobody has actually seen it. It's a beautiful movie.

The Australian western? Got talked up here quite a bit last couple years.

I'll watch about anything with Guy Pearce.

I’ll say my nomination every time this thread pops up:

Cadence

1990 film directed by Martin Sheen. And he’s also in it with Charlie Sheen and Larry Fishburne (before he went as Lawrence I guess).

Awesome movie about a white soldier in an all back unit in a military prison and him fitting in. It’s so great.
