The mighty leader of my great state has recommended that my fellow oregonians call the police when neighbors are gathering with more than 6 people this holiday season. I'm a little confused on whether or not I should call the police, since this governor has also recommended that same police force be defunded.
Can the OT help me make sense of all of this?

What they mean is call the police if you see white people gathering. Like in New Orleans and everywhere else everyone else is cool.

That helps, thanks. There are certainly plenty of those (white people) out here. Funny that they are the ones with the BLM flags in their yard making them easily identifiable.

Isn't the oregon governor the really ugly one?

There’s a point, I was with a group of 7 last week, and I just got out of ICU. Do your part.

What for??? Police enforce laws. The legislature hasn’t passed any law banning gatherings (bc said law would be deemed unconstitutional).
Same issue in Louisiana. They put the “enforcement “ of the mandate on businesses with the threat of pulling their business license bc no law has been passed regarding masks.

Call the police, give an address, say that the people scattered before the popo could there. Rinse, repeat.

The governor needs to take a civics class!

The idiots in these Governments have sites for being snitch bitches, but everyone who sends in a snitch, has become public records.
Pussies in St.Louis County were turning in people many months ago on a snitch line. Guy got a sunshine law, and put it online for all to see. Snitches name and emails in full dsiplay. Was great.
From reading a bunch of the complaints it was clear, majority were 35 and unders who wanted the 900 a week stimulus money. Their stories were all bullshite.
Some named their bosses by name, and were exposed. It was a beautiful thing

By all means, call the authorities to break up peaceful assemblies. If the assembly is in a church and they’re listening to a speech you can pull a 1st Amendment trifecta.

However, if they see hundreds of larpers burning buildings and harassing innocent people, please allow them to work.
