streaming exclusively on Apple TV

Apparently there was some contract disputes with ABC, but basically all the Peanuts holiday specials are going to apple TV.

It'll be the first time in like 50 something years not to air on regular tv.

I seriously expected this to be political.
I am glad to be wrong :)

Race for Your Life is my favorite. Sad. Now, all of them will live only in some tiny corner of the internet.

Just makes me hate Apple more. There are some untouchable things, these are some of them. Just cruel.

Dailymotion has it. If you download the app you can cast it to your smart TV. The quality is terrible but who cares? Added bonus - It also has some gnarly old school commercials in there.

Do kids still give a shite about The Great Pumpkin?

We watched it in the 70s, but only because there were only 3 channels, and we watched anything that was a cartoon. But, as a kid, I always thought it was weak as hell.

Anyone can watch it on YouTube. I did last night.

And you can skip the dumb Snoopy/Schroeder scene that makes no sense in the context of a Halloween episode.

I was eating a lunch the other day and the table near me, a four top. Was filled with wannabe religious scholars. As they filled the entire restaurant loudly with their anti Catholic talk, or proclaimed there are no other Christian sects besides Protestants and Catholics while sitting in a Greek restaurant (Orthodoxy? Anyone) .
The subject changed to this very topic. One brought up that the Great Punkin would not be on TV. Which led one to say this was part of the De-Christianization of TV.

As the news of the special not being on TV was broke to me. All I could think about was what Halloween had to do with Christianity?

The first reply in this thread read to me from a similar point.
